You're quite right I've pulled out of ACC. Sort of.

We instructed our solicitors in February.

We still haven't got our money back.

I think that still entitles me to make sarkey comments about ACC, HUMA & Parador.

I put negatives only in the title of the thread, you chose to read it and comment.

I have had several messages asking me to continue to post info.

I promise that when I am fully recompensed then I'll shut up and p/ss off, until then I'm afraid I won't be going anywhere.

The recent HUMA letter says things are hunky dory. IF that is the case, then what is HUMA's problem in refunding me with my capital & interest and then selling my plot on at a 2008 price and still making a profit on my 2004 price? That's simple economics. Why are they creating so much negativity if everything is OK?

HUMA wont give me an answer

Parador wont give me an answer

PALS wont give me an answer

Maybe you have the answer?

Why are Andersons suddenly advising people to take the money & run, without interest? Do they think HUMA are insolvent?

I'd love to MOVE ON.........maybe you can make it happen and get them to return my stolen money, because as it stands that's how it looks.

Very well put, and under the understandable pressure people such as yourselves /myself are under to complete one way or the other, delivered very calm and collected considering the implied that WE (Persons in a similar position) are now longer required or welcome to observe or input into this fiasco.

If you've travelled BMI baby recently you might have seen an article in the inflight mag saying cheating in business is acceptable in mediteranean countries. I think we've plenty of evidence of that with ACC and all & sundry involved.

But ' cheating' in business in UK has existed from the beginning of time!!!

Hi Everyone,

We decided to cancel twelve months ago and were using Aldea who were recommended by Parador, a complete waste of time.

We have now appointed an independent solicitor to sue huma for our money back, he has looked through our contract and the BG's that we have and also the cancellation contract we obtained via Aldea, and if what he has told me is correct the BG's and cancellation contract are not worth the paper they are written on, because  the stage payments we made, were paid into an account spacified on the contract and the two  bank gaurantees we have specify different accounts at different banks (they should be the same as what is on the contract).

If there is anyone in the north west area trying to get there money back please let  me know.

Some people have got their money back. I'm not sure why they have and we haven't. See threads re Andersons on here and on viva-almeria. There is a another meeting today between HUMA & Andersons. Will let you know of any progress

Monday 5th November seems to be the big meeting date.

Our  solicitor also had an appointment with HUMA re our cancellation.

We are waiting to hear from her as to what the outcome was.

I spoke to her at length prior to this meeting and she was still not positive about ACC.

I therefore instructed her to carry on with proceedings to get our deposits back.

The outcome is a promise of cheques on Friday, which Friday I'm not sure.
