Thank you for your reply. So your interest is commercial - just wanted to clarify.
Am pleased to read that you believe that good and bad news/information should be posted. The only way to maintain a balanced perspective.
Anything posted that is viewed by some as a negative should not be deemed as 'putting an urbanisation down'.
I totally agree with you that there is far too much bickering. If people are allowed to post without then being 'attacked' by others each time, then perhaps the thread will have a better chance of staying on track.
Regards
Chris

Mr C (To the rescue )
Thank you for this contribution as I appear to be the centre of attention perhaps I may reply.
As well you know I too contribute to forums that I feel I may be able to help due to my extensive experience in Spain and indeed am involved with one particular case in which I am helping the solicitor mentioned.
I do tend to not get involved with any development where I have no business or interest in however I respect its everyones choice and these are indeed open forums.
I for one am more than happy for everyone to post on any forum they choose however if they post on a forum where I have a property with out date ,incorrect ,often dangerous information(my solicitors quote) then it should and will be corrected to the benefit of residence, future residence and those that have decisions to make regarding its future..
I am sure you will agree that correcting these incorrect postings may just be a little more acurate if they were from people with tangible interests in that particular Country. and solicitors that are within 5 miles of that development. and is dealing with cases on a day to day basis.
Not sure as you why should wish to be so rude to someone that after all does have an interest in Green Hills and is its indeed her business as its in the same valley as hers and the outcome of this develoment has a direct reference to her develpment and the property values.
Many people who we know on the forum are involved directly in the Spanish property market and your opinion of them would I am sure upset them considerably as you appear so freindly towards them
I am the last person to wish anyone to stop posting and if your that interested in our development perhaps the efforts taking in posting this would be better shared with helping someone who was asking advice from a couple of weeks back and you could share this information with the forum.
Dan

Hello Dan
Nice to be in touch after all this time! Am afraid however on this occasion you were not the 'centre of attention', my reply was definitely to Debbie.
Anyway am pleased to see that you agree we are all finally on the same level playing-field: "I too contribute to forums that I feel I may be able to help due to my extensive experience in Spain". This is what all of us are about when we contribute to forums, and everyone's experience is valuable. So no more of not being able to post because they have no business/interest in a certain development? Hope we can lay that ol' egg to rest now.
Most of my information is indeed learned from "solicitors that are within 5 miles of that development ", hence I feel I have as much up-to-date information to contribute as yourself. But I only contribute when I have something of any value to say and will not post just to bicker or criticise.
I do feel that Tish's posts do deem far more respect than given, bearing in mind that I have learned of her many years involvement with Green Hills, and is indeed ongoing. She has much that is valuable to contribute.
I seemm to remember you have a case concerning another development. I do hope there is some (positive) progress there.
Regards
Chris

Mr .C (Cough )
Having read the replies perhaps its best if we agree with each others point of views
Agree to post and accept that if incorrect information is posted everyone has the right to point this out without bickering.
Perhaps this way we can encourage the active 40 + to join and as many as wish to post both good, bad and indifferent information.

"Having read the replies perhaps its best if we agree with each others point of views"
Am not saying this at all. That would be a total disaster for a forum.
Am just saying to allow other people to have a point of view without it being attacked.
You don't have to necessarily agree with a post and disagreement can be voiced without it sinking into rudeness or bickering, that's all.

Hello Mr C. ( Cough)
Fantastic and no doupt the lady you mentioned is a wonderful ambassador and help many on the forum.(it was clear however that she objected to having outdated information corrected and updated and this we should all be O.K.with,
You appear to have an interest in me,Debbie, and now this lady.and would be great if you could contribute to the question of how you managed to get your deposit back by a gent a few weeks back (think he was on about the bottom level)
As you wish to be of help this information would be excellent and of great benefit
Dan

Mr C
Silly me I meant to say we should repect that we all have our own points of views and opinions and this should be respected as indeed some opinions and information can spell disaster for a forum and indeed more so on one of our developments.
Can we say we agree to disagree ,is that better ?

Mr C ? . Its the cold weather over here in th U.K.
I have copied and pasted this from Mr Archer and would be also very interested in your reply as to how you or we can help with this persons situation.
Do you think that Mr Archer .
1 Should spend out lots of more money in legal fees.
2 Wait for the developer to go bankrupt and loose both legal fees and his deposit
3 Walk away and loose his deposit.
4 Complete on a illegal property being the only other option left as given by his legal advisor.
5 ? As a poster with genuine interests on Green Hills we look forward to your reply..
I'm still trying reclaim my deposit having made a claim under the Bank Guarantee in July last year which was rejected by the Court even though no ILO has been issued. I am going to Appeal but my Lawyer tells me that even though the development is illegal, if we lose the Appeal then I have to complete or lose my deposit. I was interested in Mr C's comment that this was not true. Could anyone suggest what next course of action would be open to me if the Appeal fails other than that suggested by my lawyer?
Thanks for any help offered.
Ken Archer

I appear to be missing something here as Mr C appears to be answering on behalf of Tish and Tish appears to be answering on behalf of Mr C
Mr Archer asked for help from Mr C on this Green Hill forum regarding information that is contrary to advice given to him by his solicitor.
The solicitor told him that his choice was to complete or loose his money , Mr Archer quotes Mr C where he says states that this is not true,
Is it not correct that we advise people to listen to independant advice from our solicitors and if any of us are going to suggest or advise to the contrary we need to be willing inform the forum accordingly as to the reasons why.( particular when asked)
Tish now informs the forum that Mr Archer has decided not to complete so can we assume that his solicitor was correct and we should listen to advice from our own independant solicitor based on each of our cases.
Rightly so Tish points out that he has the facts and the decision, his, choice.
As we all agree that we post to keep people informed of "Up to date accurate information " I pride myself with doing my best I would be grateful to know if Mr Cs statement was a fact or just hearsay as I am unaware of any other options other than legal advice given.

So do I assume that your intereset in Green Hills on this particular matter is similar to mine,my solicitors and does not extend to having the same information as Mr C on this very important issue,
Mr C quoted on 2/707of his purchase of a property on the lower level and now also had his deposit back on the top level, thats where this gent probably have got his information to request help.( Mr C I didnt appreciate that you are involved in our development, hence your commitment and reasons to post with such in depth knowledge)
Surely we now can expect confirmation as to how and I quote (our solicitors are winning cases all the time on the bottom level)
If there is information which differs from what I and our independent solicitors are saying regading this development I would welcome the facts that can confirm this.
This bit posting looks like bickering so lets have some facts guys please
Do we have a situation that agreements are being made and part of this agreement is silence,if so I then this will need further investigation for everyones interests
I and many await your helpful comments on this matter so the forum can move on.
P.S Tish it was the " Help I have completed etc thread

Many?? Hate to break this news to you Dan, but it's only you and me here. Everyone else has gone home.......or fallen asleep.
"Do we have a situation that agreements are being made and part of this agreement is silence,if so I then this will need further investigation for everyones interests".
Silence agreements, investigations? Give us all a break.
Maybe if there was less nonsense written, people would be encouraged to post more?

Hi Mr C
Your post is very welcome though rather fruitless pointless and the very reason that people do not post,in fact it looks like me to be pure banter.
An answer to a question would have been of been great benefit to the forum and will have to accept that your long posting picking on individuals without any foundation or reason is your way of contributing
As you say people should be able to post without without being attacked
Those like Debbie who are the same as Rixxy and many others that have a professional interest in Spain are to expect your verbal bashing as she is not in some elite club.
We take it that the rules of attack are your rules then
I take it then that the forum can move on to the benefit of the residence and those that ask questions that most of us do our best to answer
Dan
