The lawyer you seem to rubbish is a respected advisor to the forums,and one editor and advises on a case by case basis through me.

Forum members will confirm that they have nothing but praise after using their services.

Yes I was involved in Spanish property market and no I am not involved in the estate agency market in the U.K

Yes I did complete on an apartment on Green Hills as it was the best option for me , END OF

Those that do not wish to complete also have the same option, END OF

Why it concerns a few that  have nothing to do with this development is simply beyond me and other owners.WHATS CONCERNS THESE FEW HAVE WITH REGARDS TO IF, WHY,WHEN,,PEOPLE COMPLETE OR NOT.( sureley with respect this is our business ,our solicitors advise us what the options are and then its up to each to do whats right for US

THIS IS OUR PROPERTIES,.OUR DEVELOPMENTS,OUR DEPOSITS. Now if you feel I offened you then perhaps it best you do not read or respond  to my postings .

The illegal build with no licence will soon have this sorted and as mentioned I am in the position of being able to get legal and up to date information as I am an owner and fortunate enough to have daily contact a very good solicitor in Marbella.

I am sorry if you object to correcting incorrect information regarding a development where I have a property to the benefit of its owners.pending owners and those that wish to consider walk away but quite simply thats tough

I cant believe I an replying to this which have no benefit whatsoevr to Santa Maria,its residences or those that have tangible interests there.

I would never ever be foul mouthed  to a lady  or gent for that matter and my postings are as original.

Now I am not sure what your problem is but it appears that me as a person has replaced the obsession you appear to have with Santa Maria Green Hills

I would be grateful if you would reply to me direct anymore in this tone or I will have no option than to bring it to the Editors notice.

I have nothing to shy away or be ashamed of in my postings and invite anyone to judge for themselves;( iwill delete all postings if you wish me to  as it appears that if they dont agree with your you then there seems to be a problem

While you may not agree with me and you appear now to even try to rubbish my solicitor for not agreeing with you then with respect I would very much just like to say farewell to you.

I will continue to post  on this forum since I was the one that instigated it and have a very keen interest as to the outcome of this development as have all the people that I am in regular UP TO DATE contact with.

As information.past present and future on Santa Maria Green Hills would I assume be gratefully received.

I too post on other threads if I feel that I have up to date infornation from my days in the  Spanish  real estate market..

As the editor points out this month in is report there is so much gloom at the moment and along side his excellent 10 reasons to buy many will have to accept that property is more than a short term financial gain.

Hoping for some positive news soon on the legals so it will leave everyone in a postion to make up their own minds ( out again to meet the legal guys and gals)and will post all the news I can on this.

Would be great if some of the active group ? which I assume is against this development could join in the thread as this very much is their business.

Our Lawyer told us that  it was granted to SMV over lunch last September! I posted about it at the time. Just goes to show how long it takes to actually get issued. GH and Los Lagos are a totally different situation. They have very different issues.

Yes I am aware that Green Hills is a different issue as I own a property there ,thanks anyway (just take a wee bit longer thats all)

Just checked the postings on the Santa Maria Village Site and the information that you had then is totally different different from what you posted in Nov ?

Hi Dan

Thank you for that , as you are aware we do not post  untruths and I don´t think it is acceptable that someone who doesn´t live have any interest in the area to question the postings of those who do have an interest.

Anyone can question what I post if they have a genuine interest in an urbanisation  because they NEED to know the truth be it good or bad, I find it strange that someone feels the need to constantly put urbanisations down when they have nothing to do with any of them.

We as do yourself always try to be as honest as possible when posting and will always endevour to help people who need it whether this involves trying to get their money back, selling or completing. I do not believe that this website was set up for people to constantly put developments down but to offer honest information as you along with countless others do.

Debbie, you are entitled to your opinion as is everyone, myself included.  Unfortunately you appear to have been drawn into  Jim's mindset. You even sound like him!    I do not see anywhere in the rules that you can only post if you are an owner.   Jim does not own Green Hills or this forum. 

As an example, Justin is campaigning for the Priors , yet he does not live in Vera, has no house that is being threatened with demolition, but he is doing all he can to help them get justice. When I started the posts on the GH forum, I waited quite a while for others to join. Then the case began to snowball. The people from the upper level were in the minority, but we were all fighting the same company. Most of us from the upper level won our fight, but that left many who were and are still  trying to get there deposits back from either the Bank or developer. As  myself and another lady fronted this group, there is no way we would walk away from them. We still support them. We  are always in contact. We are hoping for another group meeting this year with our lawyer.  It is called commitment. Now it may not suit Jims plan to get the whole development lived in and for the life of me I cannot understand why he has this obsession with me, but he does.  The reason I respond to his posts is because he is often slanderous.  However, he cannot prevent the wheels turning away from these forums, and turn they will.

It is because of Jim that none of the people in our GH group will post here. It is a shame because they are a very active group and well informed. They will not post on another forum for the same reason.  I wish they would then at least they could verify  that what I have said is factual!!

Jim, there is a difference between a license being granted verbally  and being issued. Until you have that ( elusive to GH) piece of paper in your hand, you have nothing.

That makes 2 OWNERS who have agreed with the postings I have made with a clear difinition that its up to each indivual as to whether they complete or not complete as its clearly a case by case basis.

It is said now that you sound like me  

Thats probably becuase your property owner on a development with a brain of her own and decides whats right for her and posts up to date true up to date information.

THE ACTIVE GROUP ? do not post because of me  Do this 40+ have a computer as I can supply them with the same information that resulted in two couples completing when they were given both sides of if the situation to make an informed decision.

Justin is active in the overall interest that the Proirs faced and we all support these actions .Justin would probably not be interested in an individual development that he had no tangible interest in.(think he and the rest of us have better things to do and he looks at the bigger picture)

Thank you for pointing this out as some of the residents ,future residence and those that have to use their own brain will need to be aware of this and they had better contact their solicitors for confirmation.

Advice is of course  " DO NOT COMPLETE WITHOUT THE OCCUPANCY LICENCE ."  Then go to plan B

As you say without the paperwork I have nothing . Well the Priors had the paperwork  that you keep on about and they really have nothing.

Excuse me Debbie but exactly what is your 'interest' on this Green Hill thread other than commercial, bearing in mind you are a letting/mangement agent and you live in Santa Maria Village?

I find it quite curious that you feel it is of any importance what you find acceptable or not on this Green Hills thread.  Why shouldn't your or anyone's posts be questioned?  I don't know you from Adam, have no idea whether you 'post untruths' or not, and with you being an agent it is quite possible there could be the obvious motive of  vested interest.

Personally speaking, having been conned and lied to by every 'professional' I've had the misfortune to meet in the property business in Spain, I have not yet been given a single reason to believe anything any agent writes.  Just my opinion of course formed by personal experience.  You are most probably very honest and honourable, but I have to say the arrogance that came across in your last post does bring back memories of my past dealings with certain property 'professionals'.  The only person who decides what is acceptable or not is Justin the Administrator of EOS.  It seems to me your opinion of your self-importance here is somewhat misguided.

If that is what someone wishes to do, for whatever reason, then that is their right, though if you are referring to Tish I must say I have not seen evidence of this in her posts.  If anyone has been cheated, the development is not as promised etc., they may want to warn others so why can't they post?  It is then for other members to decide for themselves how to deal with this information. With Dan having completed at Green Hills, and you being a letting agent, I can quite understand how both of you for different reasons would not want any negative postings regarding this development.   But am afraid you will have to accept that there are many who have had their lives seriously damaged by their experience with this development and if that's what they want to post then so be it.

We make allowances for Dan who lectures everyone who may dare to venture onto a thread where they don't have a property (even though it is allowed) but as we often see him on threads where he doesn't have a property (SMV, Los Lagos...) we just smile and  tolerate his little bit of nonsense.  He also seems to think for reasons best known to himself that many of us who post do not have up-to-date information like he does.  Another tinge of arrogance I fear and little does he know. 

Dan mixes with the 'completed' set, is happy with his purchase and I would be the last to wish anything to happen legally that would jeopardise that.  Dan well knows I sit on the other side of the fence, unsure that completion is the best way forward as I am very concerned (still) about the future legality.  The Junta has recently proved that it is quite happy to ride roughshod over any local council decision (the situation in Vera being one example) and I along with others find this worrying.

As MariadeCastro, a respected lawyer who contributes to EOS says, actually it is not legal to live in a house without a First Occupation License, so those not wanting to complete on Green Hills without this document should be respected for their decision.   As far as Dan's supposition that people who have delayed in completing and are waiting for the LFO to be issued could have to pay penalties/fines etc., in my opinion - supported by Maria's comment - the developer would not stand a (legal) chance in hell in imposing this.  I view this comment as simply unfounded scare-mongering.

These are uncertain times for many people with a lot of money involved.   Most people do not want to just hear one side, and it is certainly not just yourself who is able to offer 'the truth'.  As Dan posted just a few days ago on another thread: "its a fool that thinks they have all the answers".  All contributions concerning any information re. a development should be welcome and judged by forum members as they see fit to help make their own decisions.

Incidentally, as you brought the subject up, one thing this website was not 'set up' to do,  and that is for agents to take the opportunity to keep plugging their business, which you have done on several occassions.  People have been asked to leave the forum for less, eh Dan.

Thank you Mr C for your comments.

We have clients on Santa Maria Greenhills and therefore take an interest so we are able to update them on what is going on, we have also spoken to many people who have put a deposit down but do not want to complete just yet or at all.

As stated I believe that good and bad news/information should be posted just not the continual bickering which puts people off reading the postings as the original message/query disappears into a barrage of unrelated messages.
