We want to swap our double bed for two singles. Can any of the locals recommend a somewhere reasonably priced and where we would be able to take delivery in a short space of time?

If you come down the main road from the Bullring towards the Bouganvilla roundabout - instead of turning left to go to Consum or right towards Mojacar - go straight across & the road bears round to the right. A parade of shops is on the right hand side on a higher level than the road & the shop is in that row of shops.

With MacNight, bear in mind that they are just about to change hands, which is why the showroom is a bit sparse at the moment.

I did read that the new owners will accept responsibility for orders but you never know!

I know where that one is Noreen, I will take a look when out in Feb. I will try and look up MacNight too, but will probably want to order on Monday for delivery hopefully before the Friday.

We went in to Homes and Beyond on saturday afternoon (they don't do deliveries on saturday) & they offered to deliver Monday afternoon.

It might be worth emailing them to see whether they carry stock or whether they have to order in.

We wnt in to MacNight first & they didn't have a great selection of beds but had loads of matresses.

I can highly recommend MacNight Beds.

We purchased a bed from them way back in March 2007 which they held for us until we had completed in August 2007.

Their staff are extremely helpful and didn't mind delivering to us, despite the fact that the lift was out of action and we are situated on the fourth floor!

If you can't find what you are looking for, try going to the industrial estate at Antas. Two doors down from Lifestyle Enclosures is a furniture store which does a very good range of beds, they also have another store, which they will direct you to, on the same estate. There are varied beds which they hold in stock for immediate delivery. Might be worth a look!
