Many thanks for the photos, never expected to see the pool area ready as well. Looks like Jardin 12 ready form these pics.
Like the idea of the blind/sunscreen on the roof terrace to give a bit shade in the hot summer months, bet it's a sun trap up on the roof.
Think the heater could of been better positioned in the 2 bed living area, maybe on the back of the kitchen units, I had that wall planned for the flat screen. Are heaters been supplied in all apartments or are they just for the show ones? can't remember seeing them in the spec only electric water heater.

Hi Michael,
I'm sure the heaters are just for the show home. Much like the show homes in GB, the biulders sell you the basic 4 walls but you need to pay extra for all the bits and bobs. I know we would normally get central heating as standard in GB but obviously our climate is freezing. Worse for me in Scotland.
It's a shame that the Aircon isn't fitted as standard. I think it will be a necessity, hence should really have been fitted by PW. I think if you get Aircon fitted, it has hot as well as cold air.........I think.
Photos are superb Dan.

Show home photos are great.
Does anyone know what the apartment numbers for the show homes are? I assume they use apartments they haven't sold but from the photos they seem to be in a very similar position to where our apartment in Jardin 12 is!! Or could be diagonally opposite...

just saw photos, they were terrific - I am member of Parador Owners Club - bought 2 bed in Jardin 7 (8!) from them last year and it cost us nearly €1000.00 to become a member- so far they have come up with nothing, saying they cant get access to PW!!! Obviously some people can - thanks again

Debs,
I was thinking some people must be looking at these photos and saying "I think that could be ours". Surely PW must have held a couple of apartments back to use as show homes. I'm sure JH Murcia said they were heading over in a couple of weeks. Perhaps they could find out the apartment numbers to put a few peoples minds at rest.

We are going over on the 10th- if its possible to identify numbers we will do (if someone hasn't beat us to it) Think it all looks terrific in the photo's. We also believe the radiators are just in the show homes, as we remember commenting on the ones in the La Torre flat we were shown and we were told that we would have to fit aircon and our own radiators.
I have a friend who has a one bed apartment (Alicante) with hot/cold aircon and She uses a few free standing electric oil filled radiator style heaters in the winter months. She says they do the job fine- but it may be because of the size of her apartment

Hi
Having just read some of the comments regarding radiators, I have to confess that I thought they came as standard & didn't realise they were an 'extra'. I knew that air con would have to be added post-completion but never gave radiators a second thought..........until now!!
We rented a PW villa in Mar Menor at Easter last year & one in La Torre at Halloween, both of which had central heating which was very much required. We are due to visit again in March & will be eager to find out if, how & when you need to sort out getting some radiators fitted. In the villas they were linked to the hot water gas boiler.
Surely there would be a huge amount of work (and mess) to fit them after completion??

I'll be very surprised if they won't be fitted as standard, surely they will have to have some kind of heating in the apartments although I think they are just electric as in the spec it just mentions electric water heater and not gas boilers. Don't think there's going to be gas on the site but could be wrong. There again they might just leave a wire sticking out of the wall similar to all ceiling lights for you to fit your own.

Please some one correct me if I'm wrong but I think we are talking about electric radiators- rather than gas and therefore its much simpler to fit these. No pipe work, just hooked up to the supply. You can see the link on some of the photo's. I suppose thats why the friend I mentioned earlier just bought a couple of the portable ones, and plugged them in. However the fitted ones maybe storage heaters which are supposed to be cheaper to run. Dont personally know as we are all gas at home in the UK- another learning curve!

Guys
I reckon that we will have to make sure we fit the air con so that the type we fit will blow out hot and cold air......??
Just my 30 second thougt on the matter but something that I think will be cleared up when any of the forum members goes out soon. Would be nice to know so that we can plan what we need to do when we are out there.

Plug in electric radiators may well have to be the solution (combined with air con that does hot & cold).
My forthcoming visit in March will hopefully put my mind at rest either way.
On a plus side, the photos recently posted look fantastic..........we bought a 2 bed because the roof terrace was like getting an extra floor for free & it looks great for al fresco dining etc!!

Cheers Mike. Definitely not mine then - we're in 1356 so probably have the same view as the 1256 one.
Really do need to start saving more money now if handover is going to be that early!!!

debs77 we're thinking along the same lines. We were quite convinced nothing would happen much before the target date of December and that we may end up in 2009 before getting the apartment!! As we are Jardines 7(8) we doubt we'll be May/June but even so it'll be good not to be caught up in the 'not released on time' scenario's so many people have faced.

Some great photos, many thanks to everyone who are keeping us updated. If there is anyone out there intending to live on condado and who have children older than 11 yrs wanting to send them to kings college la torre they need to apply because they are still unsure about opening secondary school although it will be built ready for sept 08.The more applications they recieve, then better the chances of it opening.
