Just came back from the show home, my photos are very similar to the one's on here and polarisworldart so won't post them.I've been told by PW that they are going to start contacting us between May and August with handover details. The radiators you see don't come with the property and there will be no light fittings just bare wires i've been told. I need to start saving fast or it will be plastic plates and sleeping bags when we move in.
Paul.

Pauldpo, as you were over there what did you make of it all - the finish of apts, the size of the 2 bed, the solarium, the view from the penthouses, golf course progress, any word on the facilities etc. Any thoughts or opinions of your 1st hand visit would be greatly received!!!
Cheers

Was wondering the same things really. What was you first impression of the lounge area - from the photo's mine is that the lounge area is a bit more 'compact' than I had imagined. Is it so or did you feel relatively happy with the whole apartment? Also is the front door terrace area actually useable for, say a table and 4 chairs, without causing too much impediment?

I've also just come back from visiting the show apartment. The lounge was a little smaller than I had envisaged but is still workable. The front terrace however was much larger than I had expected and is more than adequate for a table and at least 4 chairs. Also the communal pool was larger than I was expecting.
All in all I was very satisfied. Was particularly pleasing to see full size furniture in the apartment too rather than the half size stuff they use in UK show houses.

The finish of the apartments was very impressive, the lounge is a bit on the wee side but still ok, the solarium is massive, well impressed. i've been told the golf course will be ready spring 2009 and the grass will start to show about September this year. the Oasis shopping centre won't be ready until 2010. They have started the work on the sports complex between gardens 5+7, not to sure when this will be ready. was told there would be limited service at first might be a supermarket. hope this helps
A couple of questioms for any one else who goes across - is there any plumbing or electrics on the solarium deck and if possible what height of fridge freezer could be squeezed in the kitchen
Paul.

We go on Sunday so will try and ask these questions and others that people have sent me. Though I think many have been answered since the wave of photo's came through and others have visited. We also think the lounge looks smaller than we envisaged and I know 'living oudoors' is the key but we had hoped to put a 3 seater sofa and definately a sofa bed in the lounge and then sometimes have six adults there. So in the winter time it looks like it could be a bit cramped but we reseve judgement till next week- and whatever we still have a lovely apartment with that great roof terrace.

Hi JHMurcia,
As your going this weekend, we are not there until easter, here are a couple of questions you could ask if possible.
1. What is the expected completion date for Naranjos. We had friends then last week who were told 2010!
2. The same friends told us that in one of the leafets in the show home there was a clause that seemed to imply that the apartments could not the rented. Unfortunately they didn't bring a copy back.
3. Are the furnishings in the show flats from Home Style? If so which packs/what cost? Will there be specific packs for Condado?
Enjoy your visit.

Hi, yes I will ask. Surely there's no issue about renting thats what everyone (most people) want to do and what agents et al told people would be a good prospect. But I will ask.
(I wonder if the leaflet is about renting without declaring income I saw an article about that in one of the property magazines and that changes were afoot to cover that)

Hi,
One further thing, The shows apartments all have A/C fitted, could you take a look as to where the external units are mounted, I can't see any in the pictures. I'm told that in Mirador the units will be on the roof, taking up a third of the space, so just wondered where they were. In the picture there is what looks like an outside plug on the roof, but it could be the light switch.

There are pictures on Polarisworldart- by Adrian. noticed that near the end of the sequence of photo's there are some pics of a roof terrace and in a corner by behind the furniture is an air con unit- looks about 2ft by 3ft.
Mirador is going to have solar panels on the roof, I dont think it is optional. If you search the 'net you'll see some property agents web sites have plans showing the roof terrace for Mirador and they have the solar panels for ground floor and 1st floor in the bottom third of the roof terrace, behind a low wall. I cant remember what sites I saw them on- but I'm sure someone else will. I think Polaris have to meet a requirement for a certain level of green efficiency across the resort.

Solar panels can be seen on plans on www.spaindirect4u.com. Have to admit though that many sites show only the plans as per Jardines so maybe someone else can shed light on this query. I remember when the first plans came out there were many 'will we all get solar panels?' types of posts and the general thought was that it was just going to be Mirador residents.
