             I just phoned Mijas Town Hall to find out about the LFO, but they could not help unless I knew the reference for La Condesa. If anybody knows it could they let me know and I will phone again.

I've written to Lourdes requesting the application number. When/if she sends it I'll let you have it.

I also requested info. regarding the security grilles on our groundfloor apartment. Apparently in September 2006 legislation was put in place that stated all new build ground floor apartments should have them fitted as standard. As our property was started before 2003 I wondered how the law will be applied.

Lourdes has sent me a copy of the application for the LFO and the reference is 425/01.

I phoned Mijas town hall and the lady I spoke to said they had been waiting for paperwork from the developer which they had now recieved and told me to phone back in two weeks.

Whether this means it will be granted in two weeks who knows?

Lets hope so!

I got the licence copy too.

Do you think the development will be named 'Pueblo Los Caballitos', after the name the area went by before the developers used 'La Condesa' for sales purposes?

Horse Valley!!

I had it translated as village/town of the ponies. I thought it sounded so rustic and romantic. But Horse Town would soon (if all the units are not sold)  be corrupted to 'One Horse Town' . Heaven forbid!!

My solicitor has imformed me today that the inspection of the infrastructure is to take place this week. If this report is favourable the granting of the FOL should be imminent.
