Thanks Sue and John and those that sent me a PM I will let you all know as soon as I do of the outcome from the meeting with my solicitor and San Jose which I understand took place today.

On another note you will all see that the EOS  team removed a posting from ALM just previous to this! so that really says it all about that persons reasons for being on this forum!

We are also on  R10 & would appreciate any news (good or bad).

We only paid our deposit on 22/02/08 which is still in the hands (or rather bank account) of our Solicitor as San Jose seem reluctant (or unable) to provide the necessary bank guarantee.

It is a worry when regulars who post on this forum decide to pull out, I wonder how many others have jumped ship?

werall have our concerns about buying off plan. I paid me deposit over a year ago, expecting the developement to be a year late. So insted of 09 it may be 10.

With the new rail link and airport  any one buyind should profit. For those trat want to rent ( as it would be easier to get there) AND FOR THE INVESTER.

saw on a site  that new malvas are goind up un price on the site, not every one is buy ing in £.  a lot of people still have Euros and are unefected.

If I had to complete now it would cost me about another £20k, so I hope things will change by next year, things have to sellte.

for all on this site  am comited to a better way of life so I am sticking with it, we have the numbers to mahe a difference.

stay with EOS and the forumes and talk to the people that want a change.  look through the past post & know there are liked mined people.  What is it UK offering now why are people leaving by such nimbers?

Me and my wife have brought in Santa Ana over a year ago and where given a completion date of May 2008. Our quad villa will never be completed by then. Our agent (who are a uk based company) have not been updating us of the problems of the development so we decided to meet San Jose face to face so we flu out to Spain last Saturday (12-04-08).

We got back from Spain a few days ago, we chatted to San Jose at there main office and to be truthful they seemed very professional and where helpful. They told us about the problems with the licenses at Santa Ana, They basically said that a part of the land on the site is not owned by San Jose but is owned by someone else who is reluctant to sell, but San Jose have managed to buy the land now. They have submitted the application now for the upbuild and that they expect all licenses to be granted in a few months.

Our agent has advised us to back out of Santa Ana, Licenses might get granted but only god knows how long it will take to complete and what other problems will occur considering the scale of the project. They told us completion could be around about 2009-2010. We are in our late 20`s and looking for investment and with the current climate around the world is Its not worth the risk for us. We where told by San Jose the prices have not increased since we first brought the Quad Villa over 1 year ago.

San Jose offered us air conditioning, furniture, a place to stay on holiday in the summer, 4% a year until completion of our property or a move to Playa Golf but the price of the same property is way out of our budget, 202.800euros compared to 134,000euros. Even with a 10,000euro discount it’s not affordable for us. We did like Playa Golf it’s close to Golf, Sea, Shops, Beach and airports and has a good rental return which is what we are looking for but once again the price is way above our limit. We asked for our money back which they have refused. We explained to them and they do know that they will be in breach of contract soon and we will sue them. I suggest that people have good layers in Spain.

We are waiting and thinking of what to do next. I hope I have helped some people and I don’t mean to alarm anyone from what San Jose have said to me in person it looks like they will get the licenses in the next few months and building work will commence but who knows when completion will be.

Thanxs for all the people that have pm`ed me,im so sorry i can not reply to all of you :(  just to clear things......... what i ment about VERY intresting information was not regarding the Santa Ana Development as a whole but it was our personal and economical choice to back out of jumilla. Im sure Santa Ana will could be and maybe will be one of the best developments in Murcia when its is built. If anyone feels the need to ask me why we have backed out or wants to pm me for any other matter you are more than welcome to do so.
