When I first enquired about Sky tv via the sales office I recall Tracey quoting in the region of about 800euros for the box and connection. (Outrageous)

In recent months the developers have appointed a completely new company to oversee the Sky installations. The prices start from 450 euros which is in keeping with most other Sky suppliers.

I had Sky installed recently at Casares for 490 euros which includes the (English) box.

You can bring your own Sky card which will work BUT you wont receive Sky Sports and Sky Movies. Im not technical so dont ask me why !!

The basic box gives you quite a lot to go at !!  Its worth the 490 euros.

I'm interested to know what you did about a sky dish and the cabling to your apartment. Was it already there or did you buy one.

I already have experience in installing a decoder and initialising the sky card to work

with Sky Sports and Sky movies on that decoder in Spain..

Of course you have to pay Sky or an intermediary a monthly fee for these services.
