How to transfer small sums of money to spanish bank account

going back to an old thread, i am updating information about furniture packages. on a trip to spain in march we looked around furniture stores and for a decent package we were getting quotes in the region of  12,000 euros. we have now purchased all our furniture (including bedding, pots and pans etc.) here in england for £5,040 with removal costs of £1.250 a great saving with all the furniture that we want and not just making do.  Must add we need to buy white goods.

we are in garden 3 we  snag on the 3rd, sign on the 4th and are moving in furniture on the 5th.

looking forward to meeting new neighbours, have been reading this forum for a while and i have just worked out how to use it.

Can I ask, who is moving your furniture and what are they carrying for that cost?

Please be aware Polaris have up to 30 working days after snagging to put things right, utilities 30 to 60 days for connection after completion.

Polaris won't do any work on your apartment if full of furniture unless you sign a form clearing them of any damage, theft etc. Don't know if the utility companies will also need access to your apartment.

People usually get locks changed after all this has been done as they are so many keys floating about. Please be careful.

Would also be interested to know who is moving your furniture to Spain for £1250.00 as that is a really good price.  We too are buying all our furniture in the UK as we found it worked out a lot cheaper and we could choose exactly what we want. 

If the completion date you are talking about is 4th June, have you heard from PW this week that your completion date may have to be delayed because the Habitation Certificate is unlikely to be available by then (please see thread "completion delays").

As Mike says below, PW told us we would not be able to move furniture in until the services have been connected.
