If Liverpool is anything like Belfast on 1 st may the you should enjoy. Great welcome, copious amounts of vino and abuffet second to none.To top it off a very professional entertainment package which expressed the flavour Murcia. THere was also adraw for a short ho;iday at there 5 star hotel with golf thrown in. At the end of the evening everyone was given a small gift on leaving. If you don;t enjoy  then change your name to Victor Meldrew.

When's the night in Glasgow? Surely we deserve one, I know the free drink would be popular!!

Glad to hear all this positive info- someone on another thread had gone to one of these evenings and said they left before the end and it was all a bit chaotic and not very good. But thats the only negative comment I've read so far on all the forums. We know several people who went to the one at La Torre and they all said it was terrific so we're looking forward to it.

Tucker,

I e-mailed PW customer service last week asking if they had a night planned for Scotland but they don't. Perhaps if enough of us e-mail or call them they'd consider having one. They did say they have one planned for Belfast. Not sure how that would be good for us. I'm guessing they did an autoroute, which would have told them Belfast is approx 100miles from Glasgow.

Iain,

I got word today (although I missed the call) that I'll be completing sometime in August (P879 - I think!). When I phone back, I'll take the opportunity to suggest they organise a night in Glasgow (if you don't ask you don't get). I just don't believe there's not enough demand up here, to support a night. Free drink would guarantee a sell out.

Greetings from sunny Largs

Steven T.

HI ALL

WENT TO LIVERPOOL LAST NITE, I COULDNT BELIEVE HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE THERE !! THE VENUE WAS NICE BUT FAR TOO SMALL FOR THE AMOUNT OF BODS ATTENDING.  THERE WERE NO CHAIRS OR TABLES STANDING ROOM ONLY WHICH IS FINE FOR A SHORT WHILE BUT FOR 3 HOURS IT STARTED TO TAKE ITS TOLL ON PEEPS FEET.

THE FOOD WAS FAB ALTHOUGH IT TOOK OVER AN HOUR & HALF FOR THEM TO CATER FOR EVERYONE AND BY TIME THE QUEUES HAD GONE DOWN A LITTLE THATS ALL THAT WAS LEFT 'A LITTLE' BUT WINE WAS FLOWING AND EVERYONE SEEMED TO HAVE A GOOD TIME.  MET SOME LOVELY PEOPLE NOT JUST BUYERS OFF CONDADO BUT OTHER SITES TOO. THE DANCING AND MUSIC WAS VERY GOOD TOO... ANYWAY JUST THOUGHT I WOULD LET THEM THAT HAVE NOT BEEN TO THEIR MEETING YET KNOW THAT IT IS WELL WORTH GOING, GIVES YOU A CHANCE TO LISTEN TO VARYING OPINIONS AND ALSO PEEPS THAT ALREADY BOUGHT AND COMPLETED.

CAROL

We had a good time too and met some really nice people, had a good chat and saw the flamenco dancing from afar because it was far too hot in the  room that they used. We went out onto the reception area where they originally welcomed everyone. Eventually they brought a lot of seats out there and lined the walkway. Wine flowed, food was good but a bit slow to get at- maybe they got more people wanting to go than they had estimated for as it was very full on. But that made for a good atmosphere- all in all well worth going to. Didnt find out anything particularly new but it was good to share information and find out that others feel the same about early completion dates- its fantastic to have the property early but a bit of a worry having to pay for it 6 months ahead of schedule! We didnt win the holiday in the draw though- pity! But we did get a lovely little lemon tree as a gift.

We have only just got home having stayed over in LIverpool and had a wander around the Albert Dock today in the sun- feels like we've had a little holiday.
