Has anyone been to the driving range at Ochando Golf? if you drive out through Sucina it's on the way to San Javier, with lots of flags up but no notice that the range is open.
You drive for about 5 minutes down a very long driveway, with hundreds of palm trees and shrubs all along it - and then you get to this wonderful oasis at the end with a lovely Finnish lady pro - Pia, and buckets of balls for €1 each. Lovely range and 2 putting greens - and Pia does lessons too.
We found it by chance and went up there several times while we were over sorting things out in our apartment - gives you a break from shopping for stuff and gives you a chance to practice what we all want to do - play golf!
Hope this is of interest to some of you - peraleja golf are charging €10 or €15 to even use the range, and then heaven knows how much for the balls.
Pia is lovely - and needs more people to go up and see her - I had a lesson with her and suddenly something clicked with my swing! Great!
