Theres been a lot of activity here today,Huge workforce being employed   all over the site,Atlantico Block 200 to204 is having the outside painted and pathways crazy paved

not long now for completion I guess

Hip hip hooray my pool is being filled today,they started at 10 am its now 9.30 pm and its half full,  Its absolutely huge,

Grounds men have been very busy laying turfs and planting small trees and shrubs,The new Entrance will be ready at the end of the month.

Ive never played golf but the hole just before the golf hut looks awsome uphill surounded by bunkers.I will certainly go there to see how golfers approach it,

We really appreciate everyone's info. How is Phase 2 Cilantro 7 doing please?  And the pool?  It was still a building site last time we were there.

it is much easier if you know the block number rather than the phase etc, that way my dad can drive round and give you an update on how yours is looking.

Hi Mac, Nic is right Cilantro is the style of your appartment ,there is probably 3 to 4 miles of continuos road around this resort broken down into 4 named

sections,Atlantico,Adriatico,Indico,and Egeo,anyone requiring information on progress of their property,give me the name of road section and

block number and floor and I will check it out for you, including your communial pools

I was wondering about the Golf situation, are there any holes open yet? or any news when that is likely to be, Thanks John.

Hi Johnmc, sorry to inform  there are no holes open,I was speaking to a Polaris staff member and he thinks it will be July before the course is open and couldnt say if it would be nine or eighteen holes when it does. I must stress he is not directly involved with the Hacienda golf course (it was more a assumption on his part).

What I can tell you is Polaris are employng a large workforce every day ,cutting grass and spreading fertiliser all over the course, so lets keep our fingers crossed the open day wont be as  far away.as what has been suggested,

I can well understand all the golfers among you who have booked holidays with the intention of playing on your  own course, and are waiting for good news,you must be getting frustrated by now. This also applies to all  those to whom the swimming pools are the most important part of their holiday, like myself.

To those Haciendans who have contacted me,I will do my best to  get you the information asked for,and contact you tomorrow evening.

Hearing your reports is better than reading the local rag.   Keep up the good work but don't overstretch yourself as this is the 'relaxing' resort of Polaris

I can't believe the Bar/Cafe isnt open yet!!

We were over in early April just after the temporary supermarket was opened and the Bar/Cafe was erected and seemingly just needed the Bar fitting out, hardly a big job. Really disappointed this facility isnt open yet.

Come on PW get the Bar open for residents & guests to meet & relax.

Today I checked out 90% of the pools,and found only 3 pools filled.The good news is,and I will kill the person who told me if it isnt true,that all pools will be filled as of now,and a cleaning company will be on site next week to clean and chlorinate the water,

He went on to say that he expects All pools up and running in 2 weeks time.which is good news for eveyone,and good news for him if they are,lol

It was a bit of an eye opener for me driving round and stopping at each pool to see the variations in size and shapeof them.some have kiddie pools others do not.most are what you would call large,but there are some you would call massive.One thing I would like to emphasise is that unlike at home in the UK,we have a shallow end, these pools do not,

Though the pools look great,and the views can be stunning,I did come across a lot of areas where the grass around the properties are in dire need of water,especially down the bottom end of the course.

The Bar/cafe was a hive of activity today with 3 or 4 guys working inside, the one thing I did notice was the floor was tiled since I last time looked in.

Golf hut,  no change, empty except for maybe 20 golf trolleys.

The fruit and veg are lovely out here, no strawberries today so had to settlle for beautiful melon slices in a pack chilled, 6 fair sized slices for 70 cents.Yesterday I shopped in Dos Mares,and bought 24 langostines not massive but big,for 2 euro 45 cents in Euroski super market,How good is that? Oh, and the Oranges are to die for.

Have you noticed many utility vans around the resort.? I have been waiting for everything to be connected since February!!

I will be very disappointed if I can't use my apartment when I come out in two weeks time.

I was on resort today (16th) and there was around 30-40 golfers playing on the course...Not sure if thats the first of the season? But it was good to see the activity!!

Hi every one,it got very hot here this afternoon which made a change, it has been warm most of the week but not a lot of sun.

First let me pick up the comment made by Dee, I too saw the 30 plus golfers so I drove round to a group of 4 and asked "Is the course officially open Lads"?.and was told rather offish "No we are members of the local community who polaris have invited to a one day special event".then turned his back on me as if I was an tresspasser and carried on conversing with his cronies,the golf shirts they wore said it all about them Toffs  League.I rest my case.

Work still pushing foreward on the Bar/Cafe Mozz, I poked my head in to find socket outlets in place, lightfittings fixed, and a power board with all the bare end cables hanging out. No change at the Golfhut except the golfers had all the buggies and trolleys out on the course,

Had nice late afternoon walk around parts of the golf course and there are some really nice features here and there,I particulary like the dry retaining walls,and the pergola's.

It is still not posible to drive all the way round on the perimeter road due to construction work being undertaken over on indico road.

It appears from Polaris people ive asked that everything is gearing up to the 1st of June,New Security Entrance,Bar/cafe,Swimming pools,and GOLF COURSE.
