I poke to my agent this afternoon and I was informed that Ambersun's office is closed and that there is a note stuck on the door. All ambasun purchasers please look into this if you have used their inhous solicitor service. Do not panic. If any one finds out what the note says pleas post it ASAP here so that the Ambasun purchasers know what is going on.

I know Ambasun used PSI consultants quite a lot, but I have been assured that PSI are wholly independant of Ambasun so there shouldn't be a problem here.  Something else about Ambasun is that they very rarely employed anyone and the vast majority were self-employed.  Just for the record I have a friend who worked for Ambasun, but left some time ago, so I can't tell you their current status.

But than brings me onto my next point and perhaps there is a link here between the shortfall of amounts and these agents.  Let me explain and please bare with me.  

For each customer that an agent presented to SJ the agent would earn around 10%.  Lets for the sake of argument say it was around €10000, now lets say that the agent then said to San Jose, "we'll keep the €3000 deposit, just give us the remaining €7000".  Now if SJ agree to this there would then be no evidence of the initial €3000 ever being paid.  Just the fact that San Jose paid the agent.

I hope very much I'm proved wrong here, and this is just a guess, but if it is true then it will open a whole new can of worms.

I had an e-mail from my link in the English Ambusun office today. She informed me that she had contacted their colleagues in the Spanish office this am to confirm that my name is on the list of creditors.

I bought direct . No agent and my amount is less than I paid. So that theory cant be corrrect.

I was in the Ambasun office in Cabo Roig yesterday morning  at 11 50.,they were moving furniture around so the note was DEFINATELY  not on the door only one recruiting staff. I have a freind who starts work for them on 9th June

They did tell me all the piso pilotos of SJ  are closed at present

 I am returning on monday morning to complete some business I have with them. 

I do know they do have 2 other offices one on Playa GOlf and one in Pilar De Hordada maybe it was one of those offices

hi all,
  We to bought throught ambasun and paid a deposit of €3000
we where infomed that this is not refundable but if we cancel would be held 
for up to two years and could be used as deposit on alternative property with ambasun.
They have also confirmed that our 40% payment has not been paid to SanJose , as i requested that it was not 
paid till all licences etc where in place.

Hi everyone - popped up to the Ambasun office on Playa Golf to check for you.  The office was open and there were three pople working inside.

Hope that's good news for you.

I was also at the San Jose office earlier in the week to do with some snagging and they said they are working as usual.  I was told that the administrators had been out to visit the main office in Orihuela but they didn't seem to know much more than that.   My lawyer is convinced that SADM will go ahead and she told me that there was no problem with the water as the land has full water rights.

Thank you for checking up for the Ambasun clients. With all the rumours flying around I am sure that will help relieve some of the stress. May I also thank you for sharing with us your solicitors opinion that SADM will be built. Perhaps we can all invite you to a communal BBQ in the future.
