I'm sorry to hear about Norman.  I hope he gets well very soon.

Little doubt the stress you me and many others hasnt helped thr situation .

12 months ago I suffered a suberachnoid brain hemmorage with the dianosise being stress.of Spain and the hopeless

situation.

The stroke association may well be a fountain of knowledge for you and your family as there are all manner of specialists available to help, including physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and specialist nurses and doctors, if required.

 I was so sorry to read about Norman.  I have to admit that I felt this site became rather bland without his heartfelt posts which brought some excellent, informative responses.  It makes me so angry to think that the stress Norman has experienced (and is still experiencing)  must have contributed to his illl health .  I can't even imagine how it must feel to be 'relieved' of one's life savings and to realise the fight to get them back is hopeless.   Norman, get better soon.  We're thinking about you and hoping it won't be too long before you're back to full health.  Take it easy.

Get well from me too Norman. I don't know the details of how you were done over in Spain, but can imagine. It's not at all surprising that the stress should lead to ill health - when you are cheated it is so difficult to handle the emotions and come to terms with them, especially when you do not get justice and the issue isn't resolved. Hopefully, the success of Keith might lead to some hope for you too, although I expect that's the last thing on your mind now. The main thing is to get better. No good will come to the people who cheated you; but rest assured that you are one of the good guys and that's what matters. I have always found you to be the perfect gentleman on this site and wish you and your family all the best.

Maybe if an address could be given (of the hospital or a friend?), we could send an actual card? Only if it's possible.

Norman is in the Kent and Canterbury hospital...that is all I know but am sure the switchboard would direct you if you explain he went in with a heart attack??

Norman is a true gentleman and a fighter....I hope I can assist him in recovering by helping him retrieve his Spanish offplan deposit funds.
