They also do excellent fish and chips at the Crispy Cod in Fuengirola. Its a proper fish and chip shop with sit down and takeaway menus. Everything is UK imported even the potatoes.

I want cheap fish and chips, they seem to be very expensive in the places you have suggested. thank you very much anyway

I can´t understand how simple fish and chips are so expensive in Spain.  Presumably it´s the lack of competition... Similar to the way Indian restaurants are such a rip off in Spain.

The coast is always more expensive. I am sure if you go to inland Spain these things are much cheaper

 My first reaction to the F&C in Quesada was that they were expensive but when I worked it all out they are only about 1£ more than the UK and when you compare the size and quality of the fish they are ,imo, better value. I have never tasted better.

Inland is probably cheaper but for us living on the coast you have to weigh it up with the petrol needed to get inland.

I may have mentioned this one before but I miss Bookshops. You know bookshops where can you sit on comfy sofas and that make the displays really exciting. Bookshops in Spain look more like libraries.

I never thought that I would say this but I miss my sister or maybe it's more the thought of having a sister nearby especially when I see other people with their sisters.

As already mentioned (and having kids !!) I really miss grass !!!  Taking them down the park and diving around playing football !!!  Perhaps I should take them down to Polaris for kick about on one of the Greens as Georgia suggest !!!  This is actually the only thing I miss !!!

Still the pool makes up for it and they definitely have a better quality of Life in Spain !!  I think food wise you can pretty much get anything in Spin but it can be more expensive.    Mercadona FRESH milk seems the same as UK milk to me and is pretty much available in most big Supermarkets.
