Walking our doggy on the beach down Saunton Sands and Braunton Burrows, as he loves to dig in the sand.

Got some great pics of him on the beach, sopping wet having just come out of the sea, started digging and then shoved his snout in hole he'd just made, followed by much sniffing and snorting in the hole... then looked straight at me and the camera.

 What do I miss? Nothing really, except hot curry powder. Spanish curry powder just doesn't have that kick... All our visitors from the UK know to bring some with them when they come.

Coffee cake and  a gossip in a nice coffee shop with my friend and a visit to home bargains (which really does have fantastic bargains) and my friend would always say "just get a basket I am not buying much today" but I always got a trolley because I knew she would fill it with early xmas gifts for the grandchildren.

I'm still missing fresh semi-skimmed milk (and a decent internet connection) Follwing my discharge from hospital my sister-in-law who is a nurse came over for a week to look after me (I know, luxury ,own private nurse with a hotline to a load of doctors), I was so desperate for the stuff we paid for hold baggage so she could bring some out . Boy did I enjoy my PG and corn flakes, and some glasses of it neat. Absolutely delish. Sadly all gone now.

Poppyseed, you can buy fresh semi-skimmed milk at Mercadona - 83p for 1 litre.  I think Consum also sell it, but in a larger size which would be too big for just the two of us.

Hi Sue,  tried it but it's not the same. Nowhere in the world produces fresh milk like the UK.
