We bought an apartment in Costa Azahar 1, two years ago.
At the time we thought it was a good decision but I'm sure like most of you we've now become victims of paying back a mortgage which financially just does not make good reading.
We bought it for 202 euros and we have a mortgage of 173 euros. Figues being banded about suggested it would be worth more than the 202 euros we paid but it seems alot of people are selling for a lot less.
So we are now thinking, do we keep on sending over money to Spain every month to keep up the mortgage repayments? Do we try and sell (well we will try obviously), or is Fractual Ownership a realistic proposition.
We are indeed managing to get short-term rental (through our own hardwork and not through any other sources as promised)
We are desperate like many of you to get out, we could give it back to the bank, but not sure f the knock-on affects from this. And by doing this we stand to lose all the money we put in.
But our heads have had enough and sending over money now seems silly, it's like flogging a dead-horse.
Does anyone feel like this? Would be glad to chat with others who feel as desperate as we do.
Thanks
