Well the kindly people at PW have just e.mailed me mine, which means my solicitors should be able to complete on the 22nd July .................... waheeyyyyyyyyyyyy.
They have also kindly e.mailed me the other people's details that must have been done on the same job lot.
They are on :
Jardin2 x2
Jardin4 x 3 (inc me)
Jardin 13 x 5
There is also a little picture of my place, but also of the place next door (well i presume one of em is mine) and then there is a little map with a red line on it which I assume is pointing to mine and yes it's in the spot I asked for it to be !
That 18mths wait is looking shorter and shorter, which i suppose makes up for the 55km walk back from the nearest ''watering hole''

I'm glad everything is moving along for you and your first trip to the comunal watering hole is getting closer, I am wondering though did you get your certificate of habitation yet or is the Licence of The First Occupation the same thing, anything you can tell a fellow jardine 4der that will push things along towards the finish line would be much appreciated.
Things are moving so slowly at the moment I'm beginning to think i must be living in the same Mister cartoon as mr Slow. Or is that Senor Slow.

To fellow Jardin 4-ers
Got our call from PW completions this morning confirming they have the habitation certificate and that we are on for completion on 14th July (2 weeks later than original date). Going out in a couple of weeks to sort the furniture and hopefully spend some time in it and the nearest watering hole!

Just to answer nolankn89s' e earlier question -

answer is YES - they are the same thing, you'll also hear it referrred to as "Licencia de Primera Ocupación" and FOL...

We are in Jardine 13 and after a two week delay due to the lack of the Habitation Certificate we were informed today that it had arrived by our solicitor who completed on our behalf this afternoon via power of attorney. Unfortunately we cannot get out to the apartment until next month when we hope to meet some of our neighbours.

Congratulations Paul, good to hear all went ok in the end, I spoke to solicitors office today but they could not confirm if mine would be there for Tuesday, so its a case of wait and see.
I am also looking forward to meeting the neighbours, also jardin 13 so wave to you from the terrace  ....not long now

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for all the reply's, I received an e-mail today from my solicitor to say that Polaris world contacted her with a date for completion on the 22nd of July, the Habitation certificate is now available.
This means that we can start thinking about furniture delivery dates as well ( including the wine cooler of course, otherwise known as the fridge)

Well we'll soon have a community of Jardine 4'ers to join me on the 70km stroll home  .
I'm the 22nd July purely coz that's what my solicitor told PW that he would do after their chosen date of the 30th June fell thru, so Ken/Fiona - are you using Pablo as well ?
Think I'll put the champagne in the wine cooler

Shampers, that walk is getting closer but longer, they won't be stop-offs you will be looking for but sleep-ins. Glad to hear that a few people have had their certificates, mine still hasn't arrived and getting closer to the new completion date of 16th July. (Carol's birthday).

We are using a lady called Monica from spanish solutions in La Zenia, She is the solicitor recommended by Comasky properties, also in la Zenia.
She has been dealing with Polarisworld for two years and seems to have built up a network of contacts with them. Monica also put me in touch with Solbank in Cabo
Roig and We were able to open an account by just faxing a copy of our passports to them and answering a couple of questions by e-mail, they also do online banking and so far have sent statments to our address in Ireland, very professional.
We will be going out on the 7th to the 14th of october to stay in our apartment and no doubt will visit the watering hole whatever form it takes at the time so maybe will see some fellow jardine 4ers then,

It really exists! Our apartment, that is - just got a copy of our Habitation Certificate with a nice little photo on it and plan of Jardin 4! Strange to see it for the first time even though we knew exactly what it would look like! Roll on completion......
