I have been reading this forum for a few weeks now, but not really posted anything, However I would like to say how helpful you have all been and it looks like our holidays in Spain are going to be MAD and FAB. Carol and Shampers - what a team/scream??!!

Welcome to the MAD House  hope all is well with you and yours and yes they certainly are a friendly lot on here, glad we have not put you off ..... Be great when we can start getting together at the 'Watering Hole' where ever they decide to put it, but rest assured 'Shampers' will sniff it out at 50k or was it 70k anyway just follow him and you wont get lost...Looking foward to meeting up soon......Take care and Good luck with everything.........

You all sound great and a lot of fun - which is the main thing.
I am completeing tomorrow by POA and getting my Hab. Cert. then also.
I am out to my apartment on Friday 25th July until Friday 15th August - ACE or what??!! Cant wait.
I am from Aberdeen in Scotland so could be doing with some sunshine :o)

WOW ..... Good luck with completion and hope you have a great time while your there, we were out last week and completed with habitation cert, although it rained it was still too warm to wear much else than shorts and t-shirts.
It will be a nice change form the UK we have not had the best of starts to a summer have we but then again do we ever..... you enjoy every minute your there and the whole experience of knowing when you get there you will have your lovely new holiday get away....... Best of starts ?? It's nearly the end of bloody July !!! - summer will be over again before it has began as usual. When you are from the north-east of England like me, while the rest of the UK might be fortunate to have a sunny spell, we are shivering under a shroud of mist and have to divert 30 miles inland to catch a few rays. Hence the reason for a place in Spain to icrease the chances of getting more than two nice days on the trot twice a year.

Last year we bought a patio heater and have never taken the cover off because since that day it seems to have rained. Also bought new patio table and chairs which has only been out from under the cover about 6 times. Seriously considering dragging it over to the apartment- just not sure how as it'll be over the allowed baggage weight! The patio heater got blown over in strong winds and is badly dented. What a contrast it will be to be sitting out in the sun and being able to sit out in the evenings- will be great. Hope the bars on the Foro can stand the strain!

Hi Graham & family!
We are also on Jardine 4 and are from West Yorkshire. We've got an upstairs two bed apartment and completed yesterday.
Like all the other Brits stuck in this miserable summer weather, we're looking forward to frequent weekends in the Spanish sun. We're out again during first week in September to search for furniture. Can't wait!
