Hi all, has anyone who has been to Spain recently seen or heard anything regarding Naranjos. Are there any parts near completion yet. Are the buildings near completed or has anyone any news about it. Do Polaris have any apartments near ready yet. Any news greatly appreciated thanks

Hi,
Yep, Naranjos is coming along rapidly. Show apartments in Jardin 5 opened last month and the last estimate for completion is from Oct onwards.
I think that gardens 1 to 5 as the most far advanced, which is good as I'm in garden one, There are piccies of the penthouses in the Photos section, they too are looking amost ready.

thats great to hear Phil. We are in garden six or seven I think , the one just above al agora. PW have said that hopefully some will be ready before the end of the year but did not say which gardens , so it is nice to hear it independently of them. There is a los naranjos forum on EOS but it is not near as informative as this forum

When we were last out you in April the gardens at that end were quite a way behind the one in 1 to 5, but then with the speed that work is progressing I'm sure that they have caught up. Your right the 'Los Naranjos' forum is relatively quite I think mainly because this forum is older so most have joined it and not noticed that the Naranjos one was created. Also when you sign up most will search for 'Condado' rather than their specific area within development. Just noticed that there's a 'Jardines' forum as well and that is also quite compared to this one. Not sure that it's al that useful having separate forums as it segregates the posts so unless your a member of all you could miss out on something interesting.

I have joined all the forums because although some are busier than others you can miss out on some very interesting information. Even the EOS general forum gives info on many subjects not exclusively related to Condado.
Mar Menor, La Torre and Hacienda Riquelme tend to discuss issues post completion like swimming pools, amenities and site rules, all of which we will eventually be concerned about.
You are in Naranjos and I personally would put my posts about my penthouse and the golf course on that forum. For example, Jack Nicklaus was over last week and should have given permission to seed the course and get it on its way. This was under Naranjos (not Condado).
General topics relating to all of us on Condado I would put on the Condado thread.
It is very easy to subscribe to them all and I always look forward to a new message on all of them.
If we waited for Polaris or Parador to tell us anything we would still think it 's still just a building site (which is not the case).
On my progress report from Parador on their members site the footings haven't been put in yet, and it's only thanks to friends and the EOS forums that I know my property is complete.
The latest pictures show it will be a fantastic development and we can't wait to get out there!

What date did they give you for completion? I'm off to France for the month of August, so I was hoping that completion wouldn't be before Oct at the earlist.

You have us all on edge now wanting to know your date? We are in Naranjos Jardin 8, when I was out in May we were told Oct/Nov ish, from what we could see then all the construction was up. We are going back out mid September for another look, OMG its all moving so fast.

Thats what happened on Jardines, we werent expecting completion until at least the end of the year and then WHAM the phone calls started coming and before you know it they are asking for confirmation and your panicking about mortgages etc...It didnt give a lot of time especially with the credit crunch we all thought we had plenty of time to sort out and save for furniture etc...but hey thats Spain, somethings cant wait till manyana .......... They have said that garden 4 will be completing between 6th - 24th October, right bang in the middle of my holiday in Mexico 
They told me I should of recieved an email a while ago regarding completing, i've had nothing!
I know this has been covered before but could someone confirm the fees for completing on a 3 bed ground floor without a mortgage.

This is based on a purchase price of 131,300 Euro
STAMP DUTY:
- Murcia treasury (1% of the value declared on the deeds) = 1,313€
- Notary = 1,500 €
- Land registry fee = 528€
- management fees = 264€
Hope that helps, I am sure if you have not got a mortgage these and your Legal fees for solicitor are all you pay.

Hi Everyone - just back from hols and had call from Polaris today to say that our apartments will be ready for completion from 22nd September to beg October. AAAgh!!!!
We have flights and acomodation booked for 11th September. OK. now I'm panicking and now know what everyone from Jardines was going through

Talking from my experience of panic, really theres no need although it seems like everything is happening at once and you are getting nowhere fast, it all turned out perfect without a hitch and now I am sitting thinking what was I fussing about.....Its just so scarey now it has become real. Remember you have lots of help and advice from all of us about the process and I am sure now that we have been through it, we will be more than willing to help all we can...Look forward and soon you will have your little piece of Spain for real...Good luck with everything

Hi All
Now I’m panicking were is the medication, we are in Naranjos Jardin 8 and assumed from other posts that they would be releasing from 1 to 6 first and than 7 & 8, so wasn’t expecting to hear anything before Oct/Nov but if Martyn and June in Jardin 7 have been notified for September. OMG Nurse. Going to a dark room now to calm down.
