Car rental/to buy - Estepona area

Is there anyone out there that has bought on block 1 or is it just me and Golfinjim that have the whole block to ourselves?

Me and my family (12 children and 14 grandchildren) are looking forward to meeting you.  We like heavy metal music and grunge and punk rock.  Always seems best when played loud.  We love to do dive bombs in the pool to the music.  Hope our stereo can go loud enough so we can hear it at the pool.   Do you think the chlorine will affect our tattoos?  We also like getting pi**ed on cider too.  How about you and your family what do you like.  Maybe we can all get together one night for a party.  We've worked out how all the kids grandkids can stay in the apartment making for cheap holidays.

Have noticed there has been 29 viewings of this thread since I last posted.  I'm sure Lisa will have been one.  Just so you can all sleep peacefully tonight.

I have three very nice children, and NO grandchildren (yet).  My youngest is 20 my eldest 31.  Dont think they'll be to interested in going to Spain with their dad.  Certainly wont be letting them go to MY apartment without me.  Trust me you'll never know I was there.  Unless you see a very content looking guy on a sunbed on the solarium with a cold beer in his hand.

I didn't see your reply last night only just logged on now. I have had a very stressful morning due to the kids 1st day back at school and your message was absolutely brilliant, it really made me laugh.  My kind of humour !!!  We have 2 kids, Jess aged 14 going on 29 and Christian aged 9.  We don't play golf, well not yet anyway, just like taking it easy in the sun with a few drinks.  Have you been given a completion date yet? pw told us beginning of oct.

Anyway look forward to meeting you soon and you'll know which are our kids cause they'll be the ones dive bombing off the terrace into the pool !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heres hoping we don't get people on Condado that Frank described but I am beginning to wonder who is moving into the Penhouses? As like you,  only ourselves and Barry & Sue have come forward to admit they have bought a penthouse in our block.  When we were buying there was only a limited number of penhouses left, so where has  everyone gone? Lisa, maybe your daughter Jess and my daughter Robyn who is also 14 could get together sometimes to discuss the finer points of life (boys, boys and makeup and boys and makeup and boys) get the message.

Is Robyn like that aswell then ?  I'm sure Jess would love a friend to discuss boys and makeup with. Let us know when you're going out and we can meet up.  As for all the other "Penthousers"  maybe they have been put off with the thought of gold golf buggies and pink lycra suits and decided to swap to  La Torre where maybe its a bit more refined.

Simon & I are comming out in October schoool week which is the 13th to 17th but the girls are not comming with us, putting them in kennels No really staying with gran.  We will be too busy that week to try and keep them intertained.  Do you think Shampers could baby sit?  Sure Robyn would love pink lyrca and Lucy would love a ride in the gold buggie.  Hope this morning wasn't too stressful, our kids in Scotland have been back since the 18th August.  We are also coming out in December but again Robyn is not coming with us she said it would be boring( have you heard that before) don't think she will come out until next summer and will probably bring friend so they can pose in the skimpiest of clothes by the pool.

I' m really pleased that there is going to be a few kids around on Condado. Our daughter Jess said there was no way she was ever going to come with us ( it'll be boring, just golf, no friends and just old people !!!) How wrong............  Typical teenager.
We dont know as yet when we'll be going out, not had a definate date from pw, just first or second week in oct.  I'm trying to find some cheapish flights to go out this week or next week for a few days as we haven't been there since reserving in feb 07.

Does Jess have MSN and a webcam, maybe we could  get them to  talk on this first before they both come out to Spain? Robyn spent nearly half our summer holiday bored cause she didn't have anyone to hang out with. It wasn't until I approach a couple and asked if Rob could hang out with their two boys.  Never saw her after that for the rest of the holiday.  It can be ackward at that age to break the ice first and as Rob is quite shy I always have to do the neccessary for her.

Jess does have MSN and spends half her life on it. Also has a webcam but is a bit shy to use it. I know what you mean about breaking the ice. Every year we go on holiday and its the same routine for the first couple of days "I'm bored, I wanna go home, this is the worst holiday ever", that is until i've asked other kids if she can hang around with them. Then like you say, dont see her all holiday!  Then at the end she says "It's the best holiday i've ever had".  Things mums have to do eh.............

Anyway good idea about getting them to chat. I'll speak to Jess and get her MSN address or whatever you call it and we'll take it from there.

I could easily end up in block 1 fast asleep somewhere  after a night out, nothing better than being woken up by the sunbed man asking for money surrounded by sunbathers at lunchtime whilst in last nights gear and already badly sunburnt on one cheek and dribbling down the other............... perish the thought in Condado.

BTW, my daughter Beth is 14 in October, her MSN addy says something about Liam being sound and Matt being her fittbuddy
