Charity lunch for abandoned animals

Just been told by PW the showhouse is in block 10 (opening tomorrow) - handy for us cos that's our block (not all of it!). Hope its ours and they leave us all the fittings! 

Doubt it though knowing PW!

Thanks for finding that out.  Since we spoke I have contacted Polaris World and have found out that we will also be completing in October, so we'd better get our skates on and start planning for things, although like you say, it would be nice if they used our apartment and left things in, although I agree with you somehow I doubt it

Hope to see you out there in Oct and will introduce ourselves as your new neighbours.

Just to follow up on the previous post from Mark my husband was actually the first person to enter the show flats and took many photos.
I will upload these to the forum and also if anyone would like copies please e-mail me and between Mark and I we can certainly get these sent out to anyone who is interested.

We are no on site every day due to the Jardines completions and snagging that needs to take place so if we have any further updates we will let you know.

Just viewed the photos of the penthouse apartment. Don't take the cat cause you won't be able to swing it.(Joke) .  They're a lot smaller than we thought but who cares we'll have the sun . Seems to be lots of parking though! don't think  that was neccessary.  Have looked for flight for Xmas/New Year but still too expensive , we would love to spend it in our second home with all our new suntanned, crazy, wine drinking    new friends, but I don't drink wine anything else but not wine. If anyone sees cheap flights please advise as we can't wait to join the party.

me again, Just had a thought (scary stuff) but do the penthouse apartments have a lift or is that the job of all you men out there, to lift all the furniture upstairs, we are on the second floor. God love the people on the third and my hubby(barnsleysi)I might have to keep some beer cool for him. Just this minute been advised that we are completing on the 15/16 October. Just as well as we are visiting that week. Hope to see some of you then.

After viewing the excellent photos posted by Emma I have a few comments:

The penthouse looks about the size I was expecting so I am not disappointed

Bathroom has nowhere to put anything - except a toothbrush which probably isn't included!
No fence around the pool - will this change?
Wall heaters in lounge and bedroom is an option I am considering.
Opening door from bed 1 to patio and sliding door in lounge.
Are lights on patio included?
Will planters between door and car park be planted by PW?
No sign of condenser for aircon on patio - is it on solarium?
Water pipe still a problem - would pour all over patio furniture!
Shutters on both windows - electric or manual?
Where are TV arial sockets in bedrooms - may need wall mounted TV.
2nd bed has socket under window so alternative siting of bed is possible.
Is there a lift? I've always been under the impression there was. Wouldn't like to carry furniture to top floor!
I didn't want a hedge at the bottom of garden - want to see golf course without standing up! Will be well trimmed! Brochure shows plants where hedge is.
The black posts visible on parts of the course are probably the sprinkler heads to water fairways & greens.
If anyone is visiting would appreciate views from the solarium.

Hope this doesn't sound like a moan but there are questions to be answered.

I think PW are delivering the quality we expected and I am very pleased with what we are getting.

Main problems are on the big scale with no golf course for perhaps 12 months and some residents will have a long trip to the amended town centre.

I hope they use previous town centre areas for something useful - either a top class hotel or more leisure projects. Wouldn't like to think they are maximising profits with more apartments on these sites. Don't think they will revert to original town centre plans.

Hi Barry & Sue,

In realation to the comments you have posted we think that they aircon units we are getting have the option to blow out hot/cold air.  Hopefully this will remove the need for wall heaters but time will tell.  From previous posts we think that PW are now providing outside lights.  

We have mentioned to Emma from Snagit Murcia about the water pipes and will let you know what she says.  In our docs it states that there is a lift.   As we are two floors above you there had better be or I'll be asking you to give me a hand carrying my furniture upstairs.

Having looked at the photos again we think the black posts could be lights for the pathway between our apartments and the golf course assuming we are looking at the same black posts.
