Does anybody know what comeback Cajia Murcia bank have if they have to reposess your property in spain as a result of being screwed over by the various folks mentioned in this thread.  As far as i understand the mortgage is obviously secured on the property in spain, so they should not have any comeback on you outside of this...?

Just to clarify, altough I have mentioned Robert Capewell, Robert Shaw (of Hacienda Multi Services) and Alan Hall of Sunsea Properties in the same post as Sue Gardiner, let me clarify that the only person I have had bad dealings with of any nature was Sue Gardiner of Hacienda Management Services.  I am also aware that there is and never was any connection between Sue Gardiner and Alan Hall of Sunsea Properties and altough Hacienda Multi Services have apparently gone out of business, I have not had any bad dealings with them or indeed with Robert Shaw or Robert Capewell.

Rereading the post below, I can see where this may have been misread and I wanted to clarify.

And just to further clarify, Alan hall of Sunsea Properties is still very much in business and seems to be one of the good guys in all of this.

I did alot of work last on Hacienda del Alamo and had dealings with Sue and have 2 numbers for her which might be worth a try.

868800103     and  655653740  She never did me any wrong but I hate to hear of people getting shafted.

Good Luck.

Following a previous post - from personal experience I can confirm that Alan Hall is very helpful and factual (even we don't always want to hear the bad news at least we are clear on the position!). He also appears to be one of few to "package" a sale/purchase together and is getting results from banks and mortgages approved. Clearly it is subject to status of the individuals but well worth contacting him when you find the property you want or a buyer if you want a chance at the job/deal going through!

However do bear in mind that things over here are normally "relaxed" but more so in the current climate so patience is important - afterall he does depend on Spanish contacts!!

Has anybody had success in being able to get hold of the keys for their villa from Hacienda Multi Services.  They were keyholders for my property and I desperately need to access my keys.  Anybody know how I can get them or who I can contact to get hold of them to be released or do the developers still have keys to gain access to the property..?

Really appreciate a reply if you can help...

Carl123, any luck with getting your keys back! That would be good information to share!

Only other way to get in is to call a  locksmith who will have to drill the lock and put in a replacement barrel, you are probably looking at 130/140€ for the job.

I would strongly suggest either way that once you get access, you change the locks, replacement barrel if you can get hold of the keys is about 50€, fitted! Infact, to all of the owners who have had keys with Sue etc, it would be a good idea to change the lock!

No, I did not get them back but was helped out tremendously by Bev from ToushinSpain.

Shame really - great resort, but I had fallen foul of Sue Gardiner and her shafting people.  I am goign down the route of voluntary surrender of the property to my spanish bank.  Before that happens, I am looking to sell the contents of villa ( a 3 bed altair) fully furnished, and it has only been used a max 8 times (By Sue Gardiners clients)....  This can be facilitated through Bev from TouchinSpain.  I would highly recommend her as being very helpful throughout this whole process and seems to be on of the good guys.  Property goes back to the bank in 2 weeks time.  Any sensible offer considered.
