The following was posted on the Club Murcia Golf Spain - Roda Golf Forum.
Can anyone confirm that this is the case?
With immediate effect, only players with a Handicap of 26 for Men and 34 for ladies, will be permitted to play before 12:00.
Therefore Men with a Handicap of 27+ and Ladies with a Handicap of 35+ will be limited to playing after 12:00.
Roda will require details of players Handicaps when making a reservation and each player will have to show his/her Handicap Certificate on arrival at the Pro-Shop.
With an increase in golfers playing in the region, Roda have introduced this restriction to avoid slow play at the busiest times of the day.

if this is the case how does someone like myself get out to play a game of golf ,i play society golf and have a handicap of 13 so i can hit a ball (sometimes)so what will i have to do to be able to play as we dont have a cert to show are handicap

Yoy do not need a handicap certificate, if you can play to 13 or anything like it, you will be ok, they may want the name of your society or your home club, however they are a very friendly and accommodating staff at the clubhouse.

I can confirm the staff in the pro-shop are very friendly and helpful and normally you would not have a problem with handicap certificates.
To avoid disapiontment its best to check B4 turning up, as the last 2 times we booked we were asked for our handicaps.
There is no doupt some time soon they will insist on seeing certificates, so its best either to bring your club/ society cert or see the pro for a lesson who will then issue a cert.

thanks for all the info ,thats ok i dont mind doing the lesson with the pro to get the handicap cert ,does anyone know how much that costs, JUST ONE LAST THING when they know your handicap is there any competions you can play in or do you need to pay the 12000 membership fee before you can play any

once you do the lesson and they give you the cert you can enter into any of the local open competitions.
theres the amiga comp on during april and i was told i had to have the spanish licence to enter ;-)
