One thing to bear in mind on this - unless I am mistaken, as at May 2008, there had been no decision to stop Mirador, the bulk of the villas, golf suites, Janas villas and the extra penthouses. Those must have been an extra 1,000 to 1,500 properties - maybe 50% on top of what is there now. The costs we have to bear have probably not changed much from the original figures, especially if the external road etc. are included - but with the fewer properties the per unit cost will have risen - the basic €60-70 cost could easily increase to nearer €100 on that basis alone.
I am with everyone else in my anger at the situation, and the costs being quoted, but not sure we would have much of a case here - although would be happy to be proved wrong.
