I have just had a phone call which has really shocked me.  Apparently (this person good it from good authority) Antonio has formed his own committee with all who work in the office and live on here. He is supposed to have 40 plus votes so far (dont forget they own the flats).  The reason behind this (I am told) is so that he can go out for prices then add an amount on and charge us all 225 + community charge (we will be paying our own electric and water so our monthly expense could be as much as 350 - 400 euros).  I wondered why on earth he was doing this and of course when I was told it fits into place!  he needs us all to contribute to the community charge for the flats (imagine how much they will have to pay for the flats and the houses).  I feel sure that this cannot be correct, and I cannot see our Spanish administator letting this happen - he is I am led to believe an indenpendent body?

I think we should all let Paul have the forms back if you cannot attend the meeting (whenever this may be), WE ALL NEED TO HAVE A VOTE, it will be disasterous if Trampolin take over the running of the urbanization, there will be lots of cheap houses for the sale!!! if they do, mine included.

Thanks for the information, we totally agree. We must get a 'residents' committee. We have returned our proxy forms to Paul.

Does anyone know who appointed the administrators? It is important they are independent of GT.

Can the administrator be changed if the residents are not confident in them?

Regards

Hi Joggery, Apparently the office have set up their own committee already but do they know they cannot have a committe without any of us voting!!  Another thing to think about for all of us the the flats (which we not supposed to be there in the first place, certainly not on the plans when we bought the house) .  I hope they do not expect us all to pay towards the maintenance and cleaning of their community pools.

A resident went to the office and was told the community charge will be approx 75 euros per month.  How the hell can they know that without going out for prices and anyway they should not and cannot advise the monthly charge, it has absolutely nothing to do with them, if anyone needs advice on this then I suggest they go to our acting president who is Paul.

This is the 3rd house over the years we have purchased in Spain, the last house we sold two years ago which was a smaller version than we have now with a private pool.  The community was run very well with people we all voted for and the cost just 120 euros per year which covered street cleaning, bins, lighting etc.  We had an excellent independent administrator who controlled our affairs proffessionally and very efficient.  I know our charges are going to be higher as the estate is bigger and we have the sewage pump to maintain but until we go out for prices we will not know how much.  Incidently we are not prepared to pay for the security for Antonio and co. which we will be expected to do if he gets president, does not bear thinking about!!!  I am sure as a group we will be sure to win. DONT FORGET TO VOTE EVERYONE.

Many thanks to all who have read this notice and who have now give in their proxy forms (if not here to vote).  Cannot stress how important this is for all of us. Another thing we must watch and that is those who are paying 200 euros per month must say to the office that THIS IS THE PAYMENT FOR WATER AND ELECTRIC and have a receipt with it on as I know some of the girls in the office call it a community charge, we do no want them turning round and saying 'you have been paying your community charge for the past 6 months  and now you must continue!' especially now the streets are getting cleaned.  We need to be one step ahead of Trampolin at all times especially now we know what they are planning.

Many thanks to all

The original bills for €200 that Trampolin presented to everyone back in November clearly state that the charge is for 'water, electricity and refuse collection', so if you've retained these, there's the written proof.

However, when we went to the office, we were told that the €200 is for community fees only and not water and electricity.
