Hi Joggery, Apparently the office have set up their own committee already but do they know they cannot have a committe without any of us voting!! Another thing to think about for all of us the the flats (which we not supposed to be there in the first place, certainly not on the plans when we bought the house) . I hope they do not expect us all to pay towards the maintenance and cleaning of their community pools.
A resident went to the office and was told the community charge will be approx 75 euros per month. How the hell can they know that without going out for prices and anyway they should not and cannot advise the monthly charge, it has absolutely nothing to do with them, if anyone needs advice on this then I suggest they go to our acting president who is Paul.
This is the 3rd house over the years we have purchased in Spain, the last house we sold two years ago which was a smaller version than we have now with a private pool. The community was run very well with people we all voted for and the cost just 120 euros per year which covered street cleaning, bins, lighting etc. We had an excellent independent administrator who controlled our affairs proffessionally and very efficient. I know our charges are going to be higher as the estate is bigger and we have the sewage pump to maintain but until we go out for prices we will not know how much. Incidently we are not prepared to pay for the security for Antonio and co. which we will be expected to do if he gets president, does not bear thinking about!!! I am sure as a group we will be sure to win. DONT FORGET TO VOTE EVERYONE.
