The Fiesta on Jardine 3 was arranged with consent of the residents there in order to help towards forming a community
enviroment. Many Jardine 3 residents contributed to the expenses involved to ensure it had all the entertainment necessary
for all ages to have a good time. The invitation to the Fiesta was extended to all the residents and owners in the Jardines in
order to promote friendships and a community feel between all nationalities. Unfortunately I left the day before but have been
informed that for the majority it was a great success. I have been out many times to my apartment and have found the garden
to be quiet , relaxing and extremely friendly with a great sense of what it takes to make a garden with people who are very
supportive and respectful of all ages and nationalities. Having young children and elderly parents myself I certainly would not
appreciate this on a frequent basis, however that is not how it is. I am sure the majority of people who are owners and visitors
to Condado abhore the vandalism and inappropiate behaviour of the minority and we should all work together as a community
stamp it out so that Condado continues to grow and become the place that we all envisage. I have no doubt that from my
experiences to far that will definately be the case. I can't wait to go back in October !

ZZZZZ Can we please end this thread and start a new one under a different heading as I hate keep seeing "vandalism garden 8" and I'm quite sure the people who belong to Garden 8 will too. Everytime I come onto the forum I think something else nasty has happened when it has really just turned into personal insults.
Lets talk about the positives pleeeeeease !!!!

I am absolutely mortified and hope the threads below have not come from my blog. I was genuinely trying to have a laugh by taking the mickey out of the welsh people. I apologise if I have offended anyone and probably won't come on thread again for fear of this happening again.

I'm new to posting on this forum and have been reading through this thread with growing interest, amusement and sometimes alarm.
Its all gone rather off thread but it is a great pity that some children have created some damage and disturbance. I think some of the problem is that very many of us are not apartment dwellers and not used to being so close to so many neighbours at one time- so noise grates a bit till we get used to it. As for children roaming about it's got to be down to the parents, nothing else for it. Its all very well saying 'my children dont cause a problem' but whats reasonable to one family often isnt to another and we've got to get used to that as well. As occasional visitors we feel we just have to accept what our neighbours do- but if and when we are residents I might feel different about that, because its my home. At the moment most of us dont know who is resident and who isnt so presume people wont mind a bit of late night entertaining because we're all in holiday mode- but some families are resident and I bet they do mind. However, they bought on a resort so have to be a bit flexible. I think the Spanish are more relaxed about the late night gatherings as many are life long apartment dwellers and more used to eating after 9pm. Certainly on holidays we've had before in Spain even the very young children were out in the village square until late evening- because their lifestyle is different.
For what its worth, I think damage has to be reported to RPM or whoever is in the seat (thats a mystery to me at present) I dont think challenging people always works. If you want to have arguements with your neighbours go ahead, but from experience most people when challenged retailate verbally quite forcefully and I'm afraid its always 'it wasnt my lad'
I must admit to being disappointed about the late night use of the pool- there are notices and they are there for a reason- not to be kill joys but because it can be dangerous- people often swim in the evening after consuming alcohol (I think insurances require this restriction) and it causes a disturbance because no-one seems able to keep their mouth shut when in a swimming pool. Likewise the use of inflatables- it says on the notice not to use them but people seem to feel they can ignore that- why? Do they know something I dont are they above the rules? If people aren't happy with those rules it should go to RPM (or whoever) to be renegotiated. Its quite standard to have 'closed' times and restrictions on lilo's for swimming pools on Spanish resorts.
We think CdA is coming on a treat and some things are teething problems or problems for peak weeks, after all this is just year 1. We have friends with a property at La Torre and they never use it in late July through August for all of these reasons. If you speak to people who own properties in other holiday resorts you will often find they dont go in the peak weeks- they view it like the people who live on the south coast of the UK view the summer- packed and full of people with a holiday head on and often too much alcohol as well. We also noted the growing number of Spanish residents and I feel they will get these issues ironed out before too long
As to damage on the golf courses I think you'd find that the other PW courses suffered from some of these problems until they came into regular use- at least they are trying to open the whole of the CdA course and that should mean greater security for the whole course rather than just the first 9 holes. Then people start to leave it alone rather than believing they can freely roam because its not finished.
I read that there's now an inspector doing the rounds- so lets hope things improve with the garden lighting and dying shrubs. Before someone tells me thats a minor problem- it isnt. Its something that looks untidy and gives the impression of lack of care (one was down in our Jardin for 5 weeks!) and if you're trying to sell a property or you rent out a property thats not the impression you'd want to give. Plus its not what we bought into and you have to start with the basics to improve the whole.

I see I have managed to reach the forum that clearly requires some anger management. No wonder the English have a bad name abroad if these postings are anything to go by.

I have recently come back from a brief stay on La Torre whilst I completed on La Isla and I have to say that 'some' and I do mean a small number of the people who was in the Clover most nights had to be the most arrogant and obnoxious bunch of people that I have ever had the mis-fortune of meeting. I bought on Condado for a reason for a certain quality of life and not to be surrounded by people who think they rule the roost.

The good news from me is that I have now completed on La Isla and I love it. I am a little disappointed there will only be 2 swimming pools but hopefully if they get things moving with the 2nd golf course later this year then I will feel even happier.
Does anyone know where I can get some really nice lights?

Hi Jeremy
I did not read your thread that appears to have upset some of the Welsh residents.
With a surname of Price I doubt if you would have intended to upset any one
My maden name is Owen. so there is some Wesh ancestry in my blood too.
But then there is Scots blood mixed in as well. so I am a real mixed bag. & dont even ask about my chidrens ancesstry via their father. We could be here all night.
Best wishes to all
Jan

Top quality entertainment, congratulations to all involved, can't remember the last time I've laughed so much.
This thread has everything...... threats, xenophobia, abuse, 'toys-out-the-pram' style tantrums.
Keep up the good work everyone!
