please put you name down here if you have taken them to court  and how you are going on

philansy  -   won in court , waiting for courts to see what assets we can seize  to get refund , crossing fingers and everything else        do you remember ages ago when some people was saying it was ashame for one of the people that worked there i think they new all along this was going to happen with all the excuses they come out with

Glad you finally won.  I've just been wondering how you are getting on with getting your money back.  

Also, is anyone else currently suing and getting close to winning.  We wanted to take legal action but never had the money to pay the solicitor fees.

dont know if many more people have gone down this line but i know a few have

i have been on to my lawyer and he said he was going to the courts to see were they are upto

We were advised by our solicitor to go to the criminal court, when she represented us in the court

some weeks ago, the judge decided we did not have a good enough case, so she requested we try

again in the same court and if we lost we would have to pay the costs, at this stage we said no to everything

as we felt we were getting no where and paying this solicitor for work she tells us she has done. very disappointed

with the whole process, we are at their merc y and they know it

 It is always a good idea to look for assetts before starting a court case. 

If they have assets at the ouset it is not a guarantee that they will exist when the sentence is due for execution, but if no assetts exist at the outset we need to consider if the court case is worthwile

Nothing much to report here only that we finally got a date to set the court date hearing..24th ~March...prob be another year before it gets the date...it never ending...

thanks for update, we are paying our final payment to our solicitor now, did not get any satisfaction in the criminal court

and could not take the chance of any more appeals and paying out big costs if we lost. Solicitors are making a lot of money

out of our misfortune, hope you have better luck

bit of advice 4 you

when you go to court take all your paperwork nomatter how small

my lawyer said he wanted everything , i dont see how ya can lose but it looks like you can now

if you have paid money out and got a contract with a company and they break the contract and you get nothing

HOW CAN YOU LOSE ?   I DONT KNOW

Hi Philansy

Just an idea you can give your Lawyer:

If the company is proven to be insolvent, you may have an action against the managers of the company, when they have not liquidated it within 2 months since the debt was due.

We have had a few cases already with good results, as very often the Directors are the ones that hold the assets. Its not 100% guaranteed, but ask them to check the solvency of the administrators and then you can decide to take this route. It works.

absolutly no update from solicitor regarding court date or anything.....its just gonna go on and on for ever..i think they think we wil get fed up and just not bother....well they can carry on thinking !!!!

 Good Question that Phil will be very interested to hear the official verdict /reply on that, as the land will be worth something surely
