Fear of burglars...and grilled openings !

While I congratulate everyone who has already completed and starts enjoying Frondoso Valley I have just a question to ask to Barbara & Andriew, Patt & Geoff and probably others... what is the point of living in a gated community with guards and all 24 hours a day  and to put grilles to all the openings of the house ? You are paying for those people to guard the site and secure the houses !

Personal choice is the answer.  Yes there is 24 hour security but this is a national park and all and sundry can have access without being questioned.  Also can you explain why a very big percentage of the spanish houses on the other side of the valley have fitted grilles?  Three more spanish families have completed on M1 in the last two weeks and guess what?   They have had grilles fitted before they have even moved in!!!  Anyway it gives us piece of mind which you cannot put a price on.
