Thank you Blue, now I know where you are coming from when you post your opinions.
How do I know you are honest in your opinions now that I know you do not wish to complete?
And just in case, no I have not completed.

roy , many thanks for your (imo) unbiased answer re comperable build quality .
just one question if i may , i believe due to the recent heavy rains in the area that a number of units were water damaged ie flooded , dont know about build quality but does it not pose a question as to wheather or not they should have been built in that location in the first place ? or the infastructure is simply not adequate for changing weather conditions either way developments being flooded and damaged does not seem ideal as presumably if insurance is the same as the uk and if the site is prone to flooding that will bring its own problems in the future with insurability of the buildings .

To respond Searay there was far more water ingress in properties than I would like to see but with the extreme volume of water this was pretty common on local resorts including UGR, and Sierra Golf where properties were flooded and roads cut off
I am also sure that people must have read about the properties on La Torre built on the old river bed and the resulting water damage which didn´t happen at Corvera
As explained there was too much water damage, some of which did result form sloppy building for example in duplex tilos apartments where water came in around the large window in the hallway. In penthouse properties with watr has come in under doors and where Corvera have had to build threshold steps and water deflectors on doors
Planters seem to be problem where they are not sealed properly internally
I some other properties, where drains were tested have found to be blocked there was some water ingress through doors for patio areas plus normal mimor water staining around the corners of some doors and windows plus of course water coming in down some boiler vents
What I didn´t see was damage that resulted form problems with water courses or site drainage, yes I have photos from the Sunday and there were some big puddles but unlike Polaris, no rivers running through properties and flodded garages

Boys and girls - It's a good job there is a heading to this thread - you would never guess it!
Lets have less of and and return to adult, mutually respectful debate. This forum is for everyone; non owners; lifestylers, non completers uncle Tom Cobbly and all

Hi All ,
I will be nice cazbas ,
This one is for Roy also, just a carry on from searays question .
Do you have the answer regarding personal Insurance for ones own Apartment and secondly the Total block ( building)
If this was to happen every year and no one can be 100% this wont happen, how does the purchaser stand
Is this not a case for A.,-- being moved or B,--- If not completed asking for another simler property or indeed a case for money back?
I am sure legal advice needs to be taken but was wondering your tack on it
Cheers

The owner is responsible for their own buildings and contenes insurance and they should arrange this immediately they complete and the best rices and cover you can get is form people like Linea Directa (Direct Line Spain) and Knoght Insurance
Because not all properties are sold and in case some owners do not take buildings insurance part of the community fees go towards a group policy for the block to cover re-building costs
If howvever damage results from some neglience on part of the builder you can make a claim or ore commonly let your insurance comonay deal with this

1234,
Is that the best you can do?!! I know it must be difficult for you not to have the capacity for debate. I suppose there must also be a reason why you have to hide behind a number.
I can assure you that I will be present in this forum until I get my money back.

Hey Ash, big man
Don't think that hiding behind a forum gives you the right to take liberty's and start slagging other people off.
Providing they stay within the rules anybody can communicate on here and say their piece and it's not just about you and your mates spouting off your grievances against the developer.
Whether you or anybody else is right or wrong, or whether you agree with the views of others or not is irrelevant, it doesn't give you any right to slag others off.
Just be aware that if your lawyers advice ends up being bullsh1t, then a lot of people on this forum will be your neighbours and I'd hate for you to get off on the wrong foot.
Think on big man

Big C,
LOL - I can assure your words of wisdom do not worry me. I can assure you I can give back better what is dished to me by any means. Unlike others there is a reason why I don't worry about hiding behind pseudonyms. Tell you what, when the time comes and regardless of whether we win our legal action or not, I would just so love to meet anyone who has got off on the wrong foot with me. Bring it on - you have just made my day!
Ash
