Good Day

After all the doom & gloom i thought i would start a light hearted thread for anyone to share what good things have happened to them that particular day, life is good and SJ are not going to be able to take away my joy so i hope some of you will  join in! I will start it off

Today was a great day as first of all i wakened to a new day and unfortunately not everyone can say that!

As our family have all flown the nest it was great because our youngest son came to visit with his partner who is expecting in December, we went out for a meal, had a lot of laughs and when we came home our other son and his wife and our first litle grandson of 6 months came to visit, it was great and i am sure you can all guess who was the centre of attention!

Now they have all gone home and i am going to cuddle up on the sofa with my luca (not my hubby, but my west highland terrier who is just gorgeous) and hubby is not bad either!

It just does not get better than this!

Just heard from Bob's lawyer that my out of date bank guarantee can be executed but i will not get too excited until she has had a look at it!

Could not agree more, i do not know how people are expected to react when they have been robbed and then have their noses rubbed in it by people sticking up for the thieves. I felt MM was an extremly valuable member of this forum who occasionaly allowed her anger to get the better of her. So come on Justin if you ban someone because of people complaining, how many people have to complain about your decision to get it overuled.

I think that a lot of people have made posts on the forum when they have been angry, and I agree that it is good to have honest debate and allow both sides to say what they feel, however at times it has become vindicative and very personal.  In the past, when this has happened, I have posted to say that I felt some comments were out of order.  What has been interesting (when I have done this) is that many people have sent me PMs saying that they agree and that they are reluctant to post on here anymore because they don´t want to be abused too. 

Back to FAR, am I having a good day?  Yes, however I am one of the many without a bank guarantee and, although it has been agreed that we can have our money back with interest, where will the money come from?  It will be an even better day if we do get any money back! 

BUT we are living here in Spain, the weather is lovely and sunny though with a cold north-easterly wind and later on today we are meeting a friend and her daughter to help her celebrate her birthday.  I have a bit of a cold, but apart from that I am very healthy for somebody who is 60+.  Things could be a lot worse, and I appreciate all the good things that I have including my husband, my family and all my friends.

Hoping that all my friends on the forum are having a good day too!

I have had a good day. I got a letter from my UK bank and it seems that my savings have recovered from the stock market crash. I had a double whammy with SADM and my  ISA's etc being hit  ! 

I also had a really good weekend. I paid a surprise visit to my niece's birthday party & it was really nice to spend time with my family.

My weekend was also very good but was not focused on good news about  money,  savings ISA's  or my  properties in Spain. (We have all been robbed ) 

My good day was spent with close friends and family with good food , good wine , good times,  lots of love and a wonderful sense of well being  and belonging. The feeling of being at  peace with the world and with a clear conscience regards my actions and advice to others was total bliss  What a day !! .MM

Glad to see you back.

My first reaction was great now MM is back i now have no need to post because almost everything i feel strongly about and feel i should get the keyboard out and express my opinion about MM usually beats me to it.

But then i remembered all the comments i read about members who do not post because of various reasons and have decided to carry on posting even if it is only to add my support or appreciation to anothers posting.

And i genuinely hope those who do not post will reconsider because that will be the only way we can get a true measure of how everybody  feels about the situation we are in and what course of action the majority of us feel we should take.
