Taxi's

Hi All,

Could anyone give me sone numbers for (preferably English speaking) taxi's.

I may have some guests who may need a taxi now and then and I do not know of any in the area as I always drive.

I would like to keep the numbers at the apartment so anyone using the apartment could use them.

there is an operation by Police to catch illegal unlicenced and uninsured Taxis. If caught you will be left at the side of the road as car impounded

I have had a look at your site. I am usure on prices. A price from Pto Mazarron to CDA is aapx 20 -25E based on 4 sharing. Is the total 80 -100E or still the 20 -25E for the cab fare?

Taxi fare to Mazarron/Port 20- 25 euros  I have to put in 4  as Taxi only 5 seats. Many are aware i run a minibus as well . This is a 9 seater but does not run as a Taxi. It is registerred as a Hire vehicle so if groups are larger we have to do HIRE packages. IVA is more on Hire and we have to pre arrange contracts. I took legal advice and had vehicle registed and tested for this purpose.

Hire of vehicles is not straight forward. Vehicle has to be re tested  re registerred at Traffico and different type of insurance obtained. You also have to be registerred with Tax authorities for this purpose.  Sorry if it sounds complicated but I have spent some time developing a way to run a legal business for Condado.

I am also aware that if you have a fleet of vehicles then you need a registerred premises, so any one saying they are a car hire should provide details of who they are and details of their offices. After all if you ask someone to pay money up front they should be able to know how to find you.
