We are wanting to sell our property on Phase 1 of the development because of the delays.
Has anyone got any helpful advice on selling and also pricing. We would be grateful for information.
Thanks

Have no advice but we have just received our money back in full from peinsa ,golf invest and medsea, only the price of the house when we bought it in November 04.Obviously that was disappointing but to be honest glad to be out of it ,had to put up with lots of lying to us whilst awaiting payback, they had my money without permanent bank guarantees for too long.Free and wiser now to buy something i can see and touch.

It took 4 months and plenty of calls and one hurried visit in january when our solicitor informed us he had lost our original documents with peinsa.peinsa were ok it was one of the other companies mentioned in my last post that didn`t want to part with their small part of the money and prefered to lie instead.

Which solicitor did you use. Was it someone in the UK or the one one you used for the purchase in Spain. The line that I am getting from my spanish solicitor is that there is no way Peinsa will pay out on the basis that the delays are outside their control. Very interested to hear your story.

We used our original spanish solicitor martinez abarca in vera ,he was slow but did the job for us and inexpensively. Our property on phase 3 should have been handed over to us in january 06 so peinsa legally had no leg to stand on.Their is a 6 month period after agreed handover date when you can`t claim breach of contract, after that you can.It was a very stressful situation going through all this ,but glad we did.Hope that helps you.
