Health Insuarance for cancer sufferers?

Have received an email from our agent  to say they have had notification from the solicitor that licenses have been granted for the first three phases.They are waiting for confirmation on this.Sounds like great news to me.

We were advised that the next licences would be issued around 10 days later and then for the next phases another week or so later i.e. they cannot be issued simultaneously but there will not be a massive delay in receiving each of them.

To be honest, apart from building or planting palm trees there is not a lot left for the builders to do!

I´ve just received from Peinsa a couple of pictures taken from the ski, you could see three cranes in phase 1. Patricia told that three more cranes are being installed right now, so it looks like that construction it´s starting.

I´ll post the pictures.

Yes there are now 6 tower cranes on site on phases 1/2/3 and work on the steelwork ready for the concrete foundations commemced today.

Hi, went to CDP yesterday for an update, this is what I have found out:

The licence for phase 1 has been issued and I have a copy of it, there were some amendments to the spec of some of the properties and access roads which Pulpi have insisted on, hence the delays.Peinsa now have 3 months in which to start building on phase 1 otherwise the licences have to be applied for again, which obviously they have started, but this leads us on to possibly the reason for the delays in the issuing of licences for phase 2 & 3!!!   we are of the assumption that Peinsa possibly do not want licences for 2 & 3 for a few more weeks yet becuase if they are issued and work does not start within 3 months they will have to re-apply!  Just an assumption! Anyway there was lots of activity on site yesterday but still no where near as many builders that would be required to make a difference and completion for 1-3 is estimated to be around April 08.

The good news is that the municipal 18 hole golf course is well under way, you can actually see the shape of the holes etc now, it is going to be fantastic.

Also the houses being offered by Sunset Beach are an absolute fortune!! from e215,000 for a small (70sq mtrs) 2 bed apartment to e300,000 for a small 2 bed detached villa, so it makes our investments look like a steal... .

The area that has been tarmaced to the left of the office is eventually going to be were the new school and parking for the new commercial centre will be but in the mean time this is going to be used for parking and the Sunday market.

We went on to the new tole road which opened on the 31st March it was a really good run and so much easier than the old road, give it a try!

I haven'y bothered taking pictures of the site but it has changed a good deal since we last went there in terms of the infrustructure, roads &street lighting which has been installed etc.

Good news !! Most of the licenses are ok now and they have started the building works. I have a copy of the licenses received from my agency.

Which licenses have you seen...have they issued them for all the phases?

We have previously been advised that the licences would not be issued all at once and that they would be issued in stages of approximately 10 days after each other.  Therefore unlikely more than the first three stages of licences have been issued to date.

In relation to the golf development that another buyer has made reference too - we visited the showhouses in March, which were open and were not particularly impressed with the prices and design.  For example, the same square footage but det. property rather than town house was approx. 100k euro's more than the price on cdp.

We also are buying on phase 2 & visited site April 29th and it seemsthat things have moved a lot since then we are also staying in Mojacar in 3 weeks time so we will visit the site then.We will take pics then & report our findings been waiting since October 2004 given a completion date of October 2005 so we are pleased that things are moving AT LAST.
