Anyone else just get one?????

Bit worrying.

yes I have just recieved one and trying to take it all in .Especially as we are not there to see what is happening it is very  unsettling news.

I agree Neil, but it would seem the relationship has completely broken down. I hope I'm wrong but by the tone and content of the letter it would seem to be irreprable.

Unfortunately this has been brewing for the past few months.  This should have been nipped in the bud.

From reading the attachment sent , I also feel the relationship has broken down, both parties slating each other.   Will we ever get the truth!

Concerned like many others residents where we go from here.

 I agree that the presidents and ML need to sit down and work out the problems, I also think that one person should not be making decisions on our behalf unless we are all advised and allowed to comment on the problem. The only way forward is openness on both parties and a report signed by both on the way forward, and also if necessary a public vote. I personally would like both to carry on and work together. It should be a democracy, no one person or organization should have ultimate power.

We've just been reading through it.... There are far too many decisions being made without the community voting. There is no smoke without fire and ML have not only mentioned their points but proved them to be the truth by providing evidence. They are right with what they say, a leader should lead from the front and set an example. I will certainly not vote ML out. They've increased the communities average bank balance by 250k, in my opinion the resort has improved since they took over. I like to base my decisions on actions and results and not base them on recommendations. I will be submitting my response to ML as suggested.

I think that level 1 should be scrapped, with a board of director type of position for all level 2, where the majority must agree by 80% or it goes back to the community to vote.....even if all level 2 are not permanent residents, the community should cover the transport and accomodation expenses.  

If Mileniun go, who would manage the resort? Do we have people here who have the experience and abilities to run a community of the size and complexity of CDA, within a foreign tax and regulatory structure and in a language that many of us may have a smatteering of, but are certainly not fluent.

Don't get me wrong, I have been fairly happy with Mileniun but accept that there may be much I don't know. If we feel another management company would better meet our needs then this should to be voted upon. I would be very uncomfortable with us 'going it alone' as appears to be suggested.

I accept things are not perfect but we need to be very careful about what we wish for.

Disappointing is the word I'd use.

Not taking anyone's side...I'm just dissapointed that the presidents and ML can't agree on procedures that allow both parties to do their jobs.

I thought both groups were doing a good job and this letter doesn't reflect well on either of them.

Not sure if linking Phil to the bailout of Spain is the most intelligent comment, or even a relevant one.

But I'm sure you have your reasons.

Being offsite also agree that things seemed to have improved since ML came onboard so on the surface would be hard to say bye to them without knowing facts equally perhaps PT was responsible for getting them in so deserves credit for getting resort moving. 

Role and responsibilities need ironed out and doubt if we need an all powerful level1, perhaps level1 is more a non-exec for figurehead/guidance (not Putin style president) with level 2 having the vote. It shouldn't be left to one level1 to seemingly try and run the resort singlehanded.
