Can you please share with usw where you got this information and who is the "new" level one president.

I was under the impression that Phil Tann was on holiday until next week.

 Hi, the new level one president is a Spanish lady from Lorca, as I was told she is working at the tax authorities and

will bring some order into the legality of the resort and the people doing business there, sure she knows how to handle ML. RobandBev

Good luck to you all, I think you are going to need every ounce you can muster.

Sounds to me, granted as an outsider but avid watcher of many urbanisations, that this has been a well planned coup by the administrator to rid themselves of a thorn in the side.

I don't know any of the personalities or the Administrator company but what they did was unprofessional in the extreme and further more they should know that your level one President must be elected not appointed and for no more than information our last Administrator was and still is the Consumer Affairs manager at Mazarron Town Hall, yes we thought those credentials would stand us in good stead.... how wrong we were !!!

For your sake I hope the tax office employees are better than he was!

Once again good luck, the offer of a chat is still on the table but I will drop out of this debate now as there seems to be a conclusion to what is a  sordid affair.

Who actually 'sacked' the L1 president?

 I am not going to try and work out who was right and wrong and the cause of the breakdown between the president and administrators.

BUT

Very dissapointed at the actions of ML.  They are employees of CdA and our rep was Phil Tann. I for one will be looking at all the financial information provided and the timeliness of it from now on, solely because they seem to have wanted PT gone and that was one of his issues.

Equally dissapointed with the level 2 presidents.  If there were issues they should have dealt with this properly and either called an EGM or whatever would be required to have a vote for a new president or approached Phil and said he no longer had their backing. 

Maybe this new president will be good but first thing should be to call for tenders for new mgmt company as this one has effectively sacked our level one president.

This whole saga stinks and I have lost confidence in the whole lot of them.

If Phil had been voted out by the residents I wouldn't have cared less...it is the way this has been dealt with that concerns me.

First of all an illegal metting called by ML and 3 yes only 3 spanish presidents was called with insuffient notice to vote out PT and put in place a spanish lady.

So the resort is now run by a psanish lady that has the complete backing of Bev nad Rob even if they dont know her name it is Victoria by the way you will see it on the cheques she signs for you.

Hope you all like the english tv this will go the spainish wont pay for it they get their free through ariels so no tv better hands!!!!!

The internet will go ... better hands....!!!

Some spainish dont want to spend money on gardening lighting etc from Oct to March as most spanish only attend the resort in JUly and Aughust... Better hands.

AS the presidents that voted out the Number one and replaced him dont live on site who will now be given the power to sign cheques... oh ml better hand. arent they the same company that have systematicly refused to tell us were all our money has gone... better hand are we stupid..

ML are the resorts biggest key holders do all their clients pay tax on rentals.... dont think so.

ML sell insurance from our office are all the owners who rent insured as commercial dont think so .... illegal

ML sub cleaning work to people on the resort prob Bev and Ron and Blue velvet and other companies on the resort no wonder they want to keep ML

Also these companies use people cash in hand to help them.. that not paying tax.

Ever had your key holder ring you in the uk and tell you that you have a problem leak or something and they get it fixed and you pay... its a scam most of the time they pretend to fix leaks that dont exist.

SO ML have for the time being illegally removed the man who wanted to make them accountable for our money and did not even have the decency to wait untill he returned from hols... smell a rat.

By the way they could not wait till Sept as all laywers and courts are closed in Austust and if they waited and gave notice they would face a legal team and would not get away with it.

In a few months or even years when all this get resolved I hope those who called for PTs head remember how the resort has flourished under his leadership.

THe corrupt people have control now I am thinking of with holding my fees as I cant bring myselve to give my money to an organisation that wont tell me what they spend it on...

 Surely it is up to the residents to remove the L 1 president . If Mileniun can do this how could they ever be removed?

Don't know the truth behind anything anymore!

What I do know is that the administrators work for us and not the other way around, pity my administrator in England if she tried to sack me!

As I said before don't know whom is right and wrong! Phil Tan has not had an opportunity to respond and because of the way ML have acted they certainly do not have my confidence, respect or support. Their actions are a disgrace and if people think because they have organised a few parties and they are an improvement on the last lot then they are great then they are very short sighted. I think anyone would have been an improvement in the Polaris appointed administrators and I think we could all organise a decent party with remember - OUR MONEY!!

It is time ML started to communicate professionally and with relevant content! I do not want a weekly update telling my my post box has been cleaned, I want to know the structure of our presidents, what is the latest with the water situation and long term plan and I want to see open book accounts of expenditure! I have 5 call logs made via the community ML run site from over a week ago and they have not had the courtesy to respond, that is the quality of our administrators!

 Hi Giles, just ask at ML and they will inform you as they informed me today via email, seems there was a level two meeting today and they elected a new president for level one finally. Rob and Bev

How come you are privilaged to receive an e-mail from ML regarding the New Level 1 President when other owners have not been informed?  Why are you special?

For your information PT was not sacked he was voted out without the right to attend and defend himself.

I dont think scaremongering will help anyone here, why would ML want to get rid of the internet when they were the drivers behind A2Z being introduced into the resort, ill have a 50€ bet with you that I will still be able to receive the same English channels through the same box that I am currently using this time next year.

Any way if I cant, ill just go and buy a new box and gongle via PT.

Just learn Spanish, you will find out the difference in comunicating with the locals, maybe another reason for all the hicup....

Just received the email from ML with a note from the new Level 1 president, Victoria Sanz Pascual

Sounds like there has been a coup

robandbev seem to have a big voice all of a sudden for the pitiful 19 or so posts they have made!!

Do they actually exist or is it ML in disguise?

If what they say is true then ML are way out of line and will be getting some verbals from me when next out there withdrawing my support for them!!

This has been a stich up by the local populus and is about PT asking to see where OUR MONEY has gone and they dont like it because he is ENGLISH!!

I dont care who is level 1 but I do care what happens to our money when given over and I want to know what it is spent on!!

Remember this sensible people of Condado! YOU DECIDE who you want in ANY role in YOUR community not some jumped up upstart with a big mouth! Take note on this robandbev and the other twisted wheels and cogs within the broken machine that is Condado De Alhama!!

no idea why you have to keep on insulting posters, no wonder why the locals maybe mistrust you guys. I truely think we will be better off having a neutral- not involved in illegal business- presidency to run the resort without the background of tax evasion, social security fraud and more. Maybe you guys in the UK work like that, in SA we as well have to pay our taxes and get fined in case we don't. Don't be afraid, the legal way is the safest...., Rob and Bev
