the 45 Euros is a community fee quarterly supplement that all residents are to pay this year. Why you have beenjoy debited for two though is not something I can explain or even guess. This supplement was agreed at the last A.G.M. and only apply for one year - another final supplement is due in the first quarter of 2013.
All fees paid late are subject to interest. I would suppose that your direct debit details were not received by A.E.A until after you first quarterly payment had become due. A.E.A.have to be consistent in the application of interest in fairness to all owners.
When you purchased your solicitor ought to have informed you of this requirement to pay by a certain date.
It worries me that you have not had communication from the administrator in advance of them taking payment. They do not seem to be very professional at issuing statements or the statements are sent to your apartment address and are then binned if not collected within about six weeks. As per another thread it is an area for improvement. The last thing we want is for owners to cancel their direct debit arrangements as that adds to admin cost and results in late payments.
