BBC Inside Out report programme

Did anyone see the BBC Insideout programme last night. A reporter went to the Almanzora region.They highlighted the plight of unfinished builds and so called ''illegal Spanish builds'' in the Almanzora Valley. If anyone saw the programme was it filmed in the Almanzora Country Club that Huma started and never finished! ? It looked like it but they only showed a few shots of some derelict properties.

They were asking why it has taken the Spanish Junta and councils so long to resolve>? and guess what, they still have no answers and carry on blaming each other. One thing that was mentioned was that the Junta has to be liable for the degeneration of the properties and the development.

It was sad to see builds 95% complete when they ordered the stop of the development and all because the junta passed a law midway through a boom to stop builds on rural land! Big mistake.........

Just watched it and the program focuses on some brochures the unfortunate couple have kept which say Garcia Villas, Promocion Los Altos de Fines.

So, not ACC and a different plight from most (all?) of us on ACC.  Their villa is practically finished but it has been declared illegal so they can't live there.  Their case is still being heard.

It does illustrate the mess Andalucia's Junta has created and highlights the plight of those of us caught up in it.
