Annex II : request to update bank guarantee dates
Being in P1 - we have recieved an offer of a Loyality 2008 card, which gives Corvera till Jan 2010 to hand over our property.
However, the anticipated date (by Corvera) is Apr/May 2009.
I take it that everyone in P1 has had this "sweetner" offered and since I am no great hurry, I would acept this offer.
However, if there is anyone who would advise otherwise (with valid reasons) - I would be extremely grateful.

We're Menta P2. We got our copy licence yesterday, together with the 3K "sweetener" letter.
We have been informed now that our phase won't be ready until Dec 09, but seeing as the golf course won't be ready either until then, that actually suits us.
Also, as we plan changing solicitors, we are not in a hurry to do anything until that is resolved.

Just returned from corvera very impressed with the work that is going on also Pablo said our phase 2 menta would be ready nov,dec,09 dont know what all the concern is about I bought for lifestyle only have no pity for people who bought two and three properties which they cannott afford and are now in panic also all this negitivity is not helping Corvera will be well worth waiting for.

Well Moll are you not the thoughtful considerate one, not caring less about those who have invested and and may be in financial dificulties. We all try to invest for the future whether it be pensions , property or whatever and your comments are less than helpful. Also this forum is not only for those with rose coloured spectacles and if there are genuine critisms or comments about Calidonia or whatever they should be aired in a reasonable manner.

Unfortunately , Moll , I have to agree that this was rather an inconsidrate remark. Like yourself , we too bought for lifestyle and to retire there but I am now facing redundancy due to HBOS meltdown and will face selling our home if this happens in order to keep some of the dream alive . Whatever our own individual reasons for purchase , you have to have some sympathy for purchasers who believed they could invest and get a better gain than from falling pensions and there is nothing related to greed in that choice. Luckily for ourselves , we have good equity which we can tap into at some stage but others might not be quite so lucky. Whatever the reasons for your comments one thing I am happy with is the progress now coming out of Corvera and the lifestyle I am hoping to enjoy. Let's please stay positive but also remember that some people will have problems in this financial climate and we ought to have some empathy with that

Hi All,
I am spending a month on the costa del sol just driving around sussing out property prices and from what I have seen the property market is alive and well with no bargins to be got but still trying after visiting a lot and more to visit still looking for a bargin,. making corvera a very good buy price wise.Wil post the outcome later.
