Painting

when we were over in October looking at our prospective buy in block 16 we were told it was being painted soon

Anyone know if this happened at all??

in mid-November they were working near the top of block 15 so if 16 is next they may have started by now,

Managed to find a map of the blocks to work that out

Block 17 is due to be started 1st week of January.

Suspect it may be a little while before block 16 is started as although numerically you would expect it to have been next, block 16 was infact the last block to be finished on the site, so if they follow the original build pattern it could be last!

i presume you are a permanent resident and can see what's going on?

Don't live on DV but we were one of the first purchasers in block 17. We had an email from AEA a couple of days ago saying they were about to start our block.

The good thing is that on the blocks that have already been done, they do seem to be doing a good job, so worth the wait.

As mentioned earlier in this thread, block 16 was the last block to be built/finished. They are currently doing block 18, but each block can take as much as 3 months to finish. Therefore suspect it could be the autumn before block 16 is done.

Speak to AEA though for guide as to when block 16 might be started.

We are in 19 and just got back last week.  Scaffolding is up at the rear and work has started in preparation for painting.  18 also still has scaffolding up and I think they were still painting this block.
