hi folks
just back from a visit to the complex. weather was great apart from a serious thunderstorm on the thursday. The development has come on leaps and bounds since we were last out in march 2007. Nearly all the houses are close to completion. i think parking would be an issue if everyone were in the street at once. There is not enough room for two cars to park and a third to get through. It will be necessary to park on the footpath in order to allow for the flow of traffic. this clearly does not apply to Callr Visconde de ros. - at least not yet.
It was good to meet people andget a sense of community - people looking out for each other. The resident kids are fluent in spanish - I wish it was only so easy for me!!
We spent time getting furniture ready. used a spanish shop in Los Alcazares - great help and a lot cheaper than some of the other english shops.
we cannot wait until our next visit which will be for cxompletion - hopefully early september - as everything closes in august. looking forward to our house warming - perhaps claires leg will have mended by then!
i have uploaded a variety of photos of the various streets and also the infamous bridge. it loks like a roller coaster ride - looks as if it is lilting by about 10 degrees.
enjoy the photos.
wish we were back out again
