Hi all, just copied this link from EOS general board, does anyone know anything about a Rental Licence.  I know you need one for the Canaries but did not think it was a condition on Mainland Spain.  I would imagine it would not affect Corvera as the Resort will be offering a Rental Service, thereby, in theory if a Licence is required you would think Corvera would have one.

hi Anita

Have emailed our lawyer re same issue at Roda Golf and should hear back tomorrow with their advice.  It is quite worrying!  There are also insurance implications - does your policy cover you for third parties being in the property and/or damage?

Sandra

Hi Anita,

Don't worry about the insurance. You can easily get one that covers third party liability. A company called Towergate do one specifically aimed at holiday homes abroad. There will be lots of others too I suspect. Paulw

Hi Sandra, have also e-mailed my Solicitor regarding this, she doesn't seem to know of a Licence associated with rentals.  Have just e-mailed her the Link.  I'll post whatever she advises.  I have also looked into Insurance Policies and as Paul stated, as long as you are clear that the policy is to cover rentals, there shouldn't be a problem.

Anita.
