The first Annual General Meeting of the Casares Del Sol Community in conjunction with AMMEX (our Community Administrators) was held recently. Decisions were made that will benefit everyone who belongs to the Casares Del Sol Community.

For considerable time now

So we decided to get serious

All our new Officials

Obviously certain matters and issues will take time to resolve, for example the gardens. We all agree that they are not exactly the tropical gardens we envisaged off plan, however I can tell you that meetings have already taken place to start sorting the gardens, meetings have taken place to implement necessary repairs to buildings etc. We are making sure the pools are properly equipped plus dealing with a host of other matters including budgets.

We want to stabilise community fees by spending our hard-earned euros in the best and most advantageous way. We are actually on the move already !

So who do you contact when need be?

The easiest way is by e-mail because we might not be at Casares when you are there.

Talk to us via the web site, all your views matter, we need to hear them.

All of us will also be pleased to talk to personally if we are on the complex at the same time as you. We agree that personal contact should be made wherever possible.

about any matter but in the first instance please try to contact the appropriate person according to your Block. where you can raise issues and as the hits increase you’ll be able to find tons of information and swap opinions. to improving our Community and as we receive your suggestions, your help and support, everyone will benefit. We cannot stress enough that everyone is invited to have a say and because we have our very own Officials, matters should be dealt with more efficiently. Please remember that Casares wasn’t built in a day and some things will take time but at least you will know someone is on the case! are Casares Del Sol owners so rest assured that your grievances will dealt with one way or another and as speedily as possible. Oh! We all speak English too! by appointing a new President and 4 Vice Presidents plus board Members to represent you so you can have your say and be heard. Even more importantly, in due course you’ll actually be able to see long awaited improvements happening at Casares. owners have raised many questions about the Casares Del Sol complex and they have not had satisfactory answers. Many of you have genuine grievances about the gardens, about the standards of building work amongst other things, or you simply want information but you don’t know where to get it or who to contact. The last thing you need when you are in need of help is being told to contact some person who can’t even speak a word of English....yikes ! (Unless of course you speak Spanish…. do you?)

We're about to complete in Block 2 and I understand there is a separate community for Blocks 1 and 2 (why I don't know). Who is the representative for these blocks?

Have just returned for CDS.  Couldn't make it for meeting but spent four lovely days in the wonderful sunshine.  Would like to thank everyone involved for time etc put in on our behalf.  I do think that when the place is finished it will be beautiful. I love my little place but there are still a few niggles we have to sort. Thought you might be interested to know that we were thinking of getting the place painted so asked our mate Johnnie Jones if he could get a quote for us which he promptly did and it would have cost us a fortune so Julie (Johns wife) said that she would love to do it for us as she does all of their decorating at home.  We told her to go ahead and just match colour scheme and lo and behold when we arrived we were delighted to find the job done.  We suggested that she might like to take on more painting work and she said she loved doing it and that it would give her something to do while John is busy doing his windows, breakfast bars etc. Can't thank her enough and it's so well done with no mess and no marks anywhere and the colours are great.  Most of you on this website know John by now and have his tel no but if you want it get in touch and I'll let you have it.

Can't believe that since we arrived back yesterday it just hasn't stopped raining sniff! sniff! - no chance of topping up my tan.

Kevin Howett is the President for PM1 which is blocks 1 and 2. I think his EOS name is KevinH, but too late to trawl through and find it! We're also about to complete in block 2 - have been about to complete for the last 2 months, actually!
