1,  DO YOU GET DUVETS ? AND IF SO DO THEY COME WITH COVERS AND BED SHEETS/ CUSHION COVERS  ?

2, DO YOU GET ANY LAMPS IN ANY ROOMS ?

3, HOW MANY AIR CON UNITS ARE IN THE APARTMENT ? I THINK IT IS ONE IN THE MAIN BEDROOM &ONE IN THE LOUNGE  BUT AM NOT SURE,

Hi,

No duvets, just bedspreads and 1 x bolster pillow for double bed and 2 x spanish size single pillows for 2nd bedroom. If taking English bedding then 'The English Bedlinen Store' in Mojacar sells english size pillows. (Opp an Irish bar just after the last roundabout in mojacar) We also bought our quilts from theeroeThe quality and cost of english bedding is preferable I have been told.

There a sunken lights in the bathroom, over the lounge area and in the bedrooms.  There are bulbs but no proper fittings in hallway by shower room / bedroom 2, over dining table area, on patio, outside back door and kitchen.  There are also bare wires in shower room for over mirror lighting.  We bought ours from Ikea and got a local recommended maintainance chap to fit them for 12 euro's each.  We can give you his number if you like.

He also fitted additional window locks onto the patio doors and bedroom 2 as these are quite easy to break into and there is a mounting problem with burgulary in local resorts.  It cost 120 euro's in total but money well worth spending as I am sure Al Andalus will be a target complex especially as security is so lapse at the moment with builders coming and going and gates left open. Even if you are just leaving your apartment to go to the pool / gym etc it is recommended that you pull your shutters downs.  It all helps deter the opportunist. 

There are aircon units as you say, in main bedroom and lounge over door to kitchen.

We bought our shower doors in Vera, big store on right as you go up dual carriage towards Vera. Good quality glass ones rather than acrylic and fitted. Shower room and bath screen for approx 800 euros, not cheap I know but after plenty of research we felt this was a good local price. 

There is a shop in mojacar that sells just about everything, hardware to TV's.  Good place for 'bits'! Its called Lopez.

There is also a carrefour in Almeria plus another near ikea in Murcia.  The Ikea was fab, far more civilised and quieter than in the UK.

I cannot remember where we got the TV from (he came highly recommended) and we felt we got a good deal If you are interested let me know as I know Gareth my husband knows the name.  They are in Vera Playa.

TV came from Depau in Puerto Rey. For those of a certain age, just remember 80's group T'pau but with a 'D'

Depau at Puero Rey is very good for t.v prices,,,also does computers,dvd players,mp3 players and of course its handy because nipping down to Ferreteria Lopez in August can take a while. Its a pleasent journey driving next to the Med but can be along way to go for one item
