We are thinking of removing our bedit to make more space, anybody done this? how easy is it?

You will make a right mess.  Remember the waste is in the floor and you have a cold water feed out of the wall.  You'll need to cut out a tile on the floor to put a new one in its place.

If you intend to rent out to Spanish they will not like it.
