I want to buy in Spain

Why do some persist in spoiling our community and atmosphere by hanging out damp towels and swim-wear over the railings on balconies,buy an airer from the Ferreteria and stop spoiling our wonderful new urbanisation.
Fountains ,palm trees and blue pools and a beach towels,sad really. We have all paid a lot of money for our new homes,perhaps it is not the owners ,perhaps it is those to whom you are renting to .Provide airers please.

Perhaps that should be one of the subjects brought to the community meetings

Some probably would,I have emailed Gareth and asked him if he would please place it on his resolution list.Imagine slick apartments in one of our major cities with towels and underwear slung over the balcony.

I suppose we do not want towel police ,just respect.

Pat and I took a stroll along the beach(who said romance was dead) and some of the adjoining apartments and gardens are very well groomed ,immaculate,are those owners more demanding than us ,no ,we are paying a community charge and we want value for money and consideration and repect from those who visit.

I'm still collating information for the community meeting so if anyone wants to add anything, let me know (towels over balconies is there as well as a number of other things).

For those that aren't aware (maybe folks on phase 2), we have a email distribution list of 47 owners that was started by Ramps and enables us to keep in touch. It also means that if we wanted to, we could have one block vote at any community meetings. My solicitor has strongly suggested getting someone to represent your vote rather than it go to Seasun by proxy (she's the administrator at Residencial).

ive heard that if a subject is not on the agenda then you cannot vote on it ! and it has to wait until the next meeting

at this point has anyone thought of being brave enough to stand for any posts ?

with respect to the email list - we now have near enough 70 covered and more would be good - this will give us chance to aire any views and would also represent over 10% of the vote (which i'm led to believe is a very strong position) that is of course if all vote the same way !

 

When it comes to the meeting ,how will the email list have the opportunity to determine what they will be voting on and how will it be co-ordinated.Will it be possible for us to vote by sending an email.

We will (eventually) receive a letter from Seasun and this gives us the opportunity to give our vote to someone else.

I guess at that point we can establish who might be going over for the first meeting.

I think we should get the details from Seasun asap to give us plenty of time to arrange any additions to the agenda and work out the mechanics of voting when not present ?

Its probably a good idea to all at some point call Seasun and enquire about the inaugral meeting !

Who are Sea sun?

we purchased from Key mare via Macanthony realty international. Never heard of sea sun. What powers do they have?

Seasun are the management company appointed for the development.

They will require your  Spanish bank details and NIE number and pass-port number ,uk address to set up a direct debit for the community charge.The community have the powers ,democraticaly elected representatives and Seasun are empoloyed by the community ,we are in control.

We completed several weeks ago now and have not been  contacted by Seasun yet. Any one else in this situation. ?

Is it possible that Seasun may have written to my postal address at Thalassa. What is their usall protocal?

Previous posts on here suggest that they telephone you asking for information as detailed by Kenshaz below - I wouldn't give any of this information over the phone, as others have said but I don't know what has happened when they have refused to give the information.

I did the same and Tina said that letters would be going out to UK addresses. You can give your bank details at this point if you prefer. Cheers

We completed in early August but Seasun have not contacted us yet either by phone or post.

My feelings are that I would prefer to sort it ,rather than be hit with a large bill for arrears,also I am sure that it will effect your voting rights at the community meeting.I do not want to be deprived of contributing to making the enviroment surrounding our homes special.The more pleasant the enviroment is the more valuable  our homes become and a pleasure to enjoy.
