Hi Everyone,
We have purchased on block 13 phase 1 on Thalassa and are hoping to complete this week ( if the solicitors & bank start talking to each other). We will be there on the bank holiday weekend, I know someone mentioned meeting up for a chat, which sounds like a good idea.
My main concern at the moment is getting the shower screens sorted, and getting a cleaning / keyholder service set up. Suzi Q mentioned someone who would fit these for 50 euros, do you have a contact no? Apologies I dont know how to use this forum yet!
Anyway thanks for your posts, lots of useful info, Look forward to seeing you out there.

When you get there go and see Phill at the Key Mare office in Pueblo Salinas he will fix you up with anything you want, if in the mean time you want to make contact with Susana the cleening lady this is her email solanodelmar@msn.com hubby called Trevor and are very good ,
For showers screens, light fittings etc, email Eric at ecevansponderosa@gonuts4free.com he has done loads now and is also very good

Try Dave and Anita they live on Hills and the after sales office on the Al Andalus urbanisation have details they seem very good.
Dave will fit the lights, pictuires screens etc and Anita does keyholding and pre-occupancy cleans, quite a few people on the complex are using them.

We have just got back having completed on 5 Aug and we used Dave to fit all our lights, towel rails etc he charged 80 euroes for all these. He does other bits and pieces as well but we managed to do a few of those things ourselves. He is a really nice decent and honest guy and full of lots of helpful advice if needed.
We are going to use his wife Anita for our key holding - they charge 25euros per month and 80euroes to clean it and do the laundry but will not start that until end of October as family are going back for 5 weeks.

It is 50 Euros for a 2 bed/bathroom appartment.
The key holding also includes an inspection and airing of the appartment weekly any chasing up of outstanding issues with Keymare and if you have anybody staying they will be able to contact Dave & Anita at any time for help or advice.

Just to endorse our daughter suzi-anne's comments on Dave and Anita Baxter, we were very pleased and satisfied with the work they did in fitting lights, towel rails, smoke detectors, etc, and the duplex we rented while waiting to complete on our own one had been spotlessly cleaned by Anita.
Their phone numbers are (0034) 664 269 440 and 663 405 525 and we have no hesitation in recommending them.
They also have a lot of useful local knowledge. Dave will also do snagging inspections if required and he now has quite a bit of experience with Thalassa problems.

We use David and Anita and I also recommended them to our neighbours and several other owners and have been very pleased with their services so far. Have yet to inspect some work he has done since coming home, but we have friends out their at the moment and all is well. I would certainly endorse this recommendation too.
