Drive to Spain for Christmas

anyone know a good bar/reso to go for tapas.  We found a nice place in Villaricos which served wonderful tapas, but the last time we went back it seemed to have changed its menu to more substantial meals.

El Balconcito next to Frankie's bar does a great Tapas.

Also next to the wok buffet there is a cafe that does tapas.

The coast is not the ideal area for tapas.We owned a Casa in Orgiva (a inland town in Andalucia)and when you bought a glass of wine or a beer you automatically got a tapas ,no choice.,just what they had prepared that day                                                                                                               I would suggest that you go in Turre ,which is just outside Garrucha,and there are traditional Tapas bars off the main square.In Turre old town, just off the square, try a bar called Los Cazadores, Very cheap tapas, boar’s heads and photos of latest wild boar hunt on walls. When we went to this bar we just ordered two small beers and the tapas came with the drinks .
The bars on the coast usually charge you seperately for the tapas,and you have a choice and it is more expensive.
I realise that you might know this ,but it is helpful to others.

The Eden Restaurant on the sea front in Garrucha do wonderful tapas, you choose what you want, and they are included with your cerveza (including a small plate of paella in the summer months).  There are also a couple on the one way street at the back of the coast road in Garrucha which do a good choice tapas.

There is also a traditional tapas bar in Vera, again free with cerveza - can't remember the name but as you come out of the notary office in the centre of town turn right and its right again, seating al fresco or inside. 

These are all popular with the locals and we can understand why.
