Thanks Emsy,
Great pics and plans, thanks for the effort and taking the time to post.
The runway is parallel to Corvera, so no fly overs. The distance from Covera is also optimum for noise levels and traveling time.

Nice one Emsy, good pictures.
Sad I know but for those of you that have Google Earth loaded on your pc's I have reviewed the airport and mapped it between the local towns and come up with the following co-ordinates.
Your pointer should be at: 37 degrees 47'45.44" N and 1 degree 07'55.47" (Best Eye Altitude is about 10.89 Kilometres)
Hope this helps!!!! (I had nothing better to do this evening)

Some work has started on the new airport. Earthworks can be seen adjacent to the A30 just south of the C3319 junction. It's not a lot but at least it's a start.

Almost a year since my last post on this topic but I have found a new site with the appropriate info.
http://www.airm.es/ (double click)
On this site click on Routes Europe 2009 (top right of home page) and go to the end of the pdf file to find the latest photos

My husband often flies over Corvera and the control tower and terminal buildings are well on the way, however we have been told that the construction work has come to a halt as there is no more money and certainly nothing has been happening for the last few weeks

On the 'Good news' thread, aawright said that he had just returned from a visit to Corvera and I asked him about work on the airport and he posted:
"Comunication tower nearly up, entrance road being completed. plus connection to other major roads.
Lots of activity on site generally.
Took me 5 minutes from covera to entrance."
